If they loose cheeku , their resolve to adopt gudiya will increase . If they loose both, all the dreams and future they saw together is shattered hence, greater and logical.separation.

Let's see what's in store for us, the makers pick up typical itv plot but it always plays out differently. They picked the classic forced marriage plot but gave equal importance to Imlie's choice, they picked the classic baby plot where it could have been easily played as ASR accusing Imlie of cheating him but it played out completely different now I am curious to know how they are going to approach this classic separation over miscarriage track and what role does gudiya has to play actually👍🏼

She has supressed trauma from Malini and Malini is purposefully exploiting her triggers.

Imlie has abandonment issues, her biological father abandoned both her and her mother. Which makes her wish for a happy family to all kids, that was also the reason she allowed Malini to stay at Tripathi house after everything.

Speculation:

In the event of Imlie losing chiku, she is going to be more obsessed with gudiya and likely to make more rash decisions.

Aryan will again try to strong arm her (like wedding track) because she needs that intervention now, she has no rights to snatch gudiya from her mother. However, she might actually run away this time and Malini will have a lot to do with Imlie running away.

Disclaimer: this is based on all the information we have till now.

ETA: Imlie feels the need to protect everyone from malini because she is the reason malini hates them. Malini wouldn't have hated or been so cruel/ insensitive to Tripathi's including her own baby if Imlie wasn't in the equation.

AKT ka name is only a plot device, that Malini will use to guilt Imlie and sow doubts in her family (Narmada basically)

This is classic sister conflict, and best part is it comes without cringe sautan drama.

Lastly, it may seem like Imlie vs Malini on the surface, but it will actually unfold as ASR vs Malini.

Sometimes we forget half the things we see😕Imlie ki "mahanta/self destructive behaviour " dikhti hai, but don't realize that Aryan actually helped her admit the child in the hospital, gave blood to her, is actually going along with her to record Malini's incriminating statements. Obviously they fail coz come on, Malini didi is not that easy to defeat. Matlab plot hi kya rahega if they are gonna win in the first round ? Even during Malini's PF they won the second/third time.

Aryan knows where to draw a line, Imlie doesn't. More like he is practical and she is emotional. And that will be the reason for separation.
