Pooja! In hingsight this track has potential you know. If this was on paper, it would have beautifully explored Imlie's past trauma and hidden insecurities but the thing is we as an audience are fed up of Imlie prioritising the wrong people in her life. She has an amazing mom, a true soulmate in Aryan and a baby of thier own. She has her life on track and can move forward leaving all her trauma behind

But still she would fall in that old trap and if the spoilers are true she will chose Gudiya over her own relationships and that's so infuriating to watch.

Can I join you in the broken record club? Sumbul is super cute with the baby but she looks like she is the older sister! I can't even imagine how she will look with a five year old. That's one of my main issues too. The other one is I just don't see how Aryan can walk away from Imlie and then stay away for 5 years! Same for Imlie! And no one interferes! Not Arpita. Not Meethi. Doesn't make sense.

I can't connect with Imlie's motherly love just because of Sumbul's and Imlie's age(though she is acting beautifully)
min the age when she should focus on hee studies and career and hee marriage, she is keen on being a mother to not only her own child but someone else's child also

I think malini is the perfect villain... She is not doing chindi stuff like jo but pushing imlie towards her self destructive tendencies...

Imlie is behaving predictably and that is making me mad at her. So I'm annoyed and want to reach inside the screen to shake imlie but I'm liking the track. Does that make sense?

I think my main disappointment comes from the spoliers (though unconfirmed but them hiring a child artist is almost a confirmation that it is true)... I don't want to see imlie or aryan with grown up bachchas... So i really realllllllly hope there is no 'imlie raising a kid for 5 years alone" story

But forgetting those, just this track, right now is good. Its a conflict that goes to the heart of who they both are as persons.

I just wish we have one dressing down of imlie by someone like arpita (not narmada who'll just spew venom) who can make inlie realise that she had what she wanted all her life and how she has destroyed it herself. Bec aryan is incapable of giving her hard facts now. His brain is too addled with all the hugs.

Bachcha is again forced down out throats by shitara. We have chhoti anupama and grown up kids entering in ghum and yhc as well.

But mostly baby will be a plot point and we wouldn't see them raising the kid alone or together, though she will probably be raising the kid in the leap period that we skip.

I'm leaning towards Malini vs ASR before leap, going by today's scene.

That's why I am loving this show. Instead of the usual cliche things in the name of romance and drama, we get to see real emotions, insecurities and flaws being addressed at least in few episodes in every track. And when we have the trio to make it look real to us with their acting, the food gets really delicious. 😋

She has supressed trauma from Malini and Malini is purposefully exploiting her triggers.

Imlie has abandonment issues, her biological father abandoned both her and her mother. Which makes her wish for a happy family to all kids, that was also the reason she allowed Malini to stay at Tripathi house after everything.

Speculation:

In the event of Imlie losing chiku, she is going to be more obsessed with gudiya and likely to make more rash decisions.

Aryan will again try to strong arm her (like wedding track) because she needs that intervention now, she has no rights to snatch gudiya from her mother. However, she might actually run away this time and Malini will have a lot to do with Imlie running away.

Disclaimer: this is based on all the information we have till now.

ETA: Imlie feels the need to protect everyone from malini because she is the reason malini hates them. Malini wouldn't have hated or been so cruel/ insensitive to Tripathi's including her own baby if Imlie wasn't in the equation.

AKT ka name is only a plot device, that Malini will use to guilt Imlie and sow doubts in her family (Narmada basically)

This is classic sister conflict, and best part is it comes without cringe sautan drama.

Lastly, it may seem like Imlie vs Malini on the surface, but it will actually unfold as ASR vs Malini.

You put it nicely. If it's ASR vs Malini then whatever issues I have with the track now I will just ignore them all.

As long as they don't sideline Aryan, reduce him to just a typical ML and show Arylie as parents I'm happy with the track. In fact this track deals with Imlie's trauma which was ignored after her marriage with Aryan. That still how big an influence AKT and Malini and Ts have on Imlie
