Chapter 12

"Satinder Bilayti is a transfer student. He had recently done his internship in Bhaskar Times with Imlie & Rahul. In the course of his internship, some of his articles were even published in Bhaskar Times" the Professor said.

Satinder thought he was lucky he got a full scholarship in this college. He was just about to drop out from his previous government college due to his family's financial situation.

He had earned some money from his internship. Because of Aryan Singh Rathore, he had received a full scholarship for that he was grateful to him.

He had gone to Bhaskar Times to submit his report. He had mentioned his plight to Mr. Roy when he enquired about the jobs available in Bhaskar Times for someone with his qualifications.

He assumed he would atleast get a peons or clerk's job. He was just 12th pass, he didn't have a bachelors degree to demand for a junior reporter's job.

Mr. Roy mentioned that Bhaskar Times provided full scholarship to the deserving students in the field of journalism. The student who performed exceptionally well during the course of internship in Bhaskar Times would be eligible. But only one student would receive the full scholarship. Imlie & him were two candidates who had shown exceptional performance during their internship.

Satinder then decided to talk to Aryan Singh Rathore. He went to him to ask about the scholarship he had heard about from Mr. Roy.

Aryan then asked him to submit a letter with his internship certificate from Bhaskar Times along with his articles published & all his marksheets & certificates.

Satinder inquired whether Imlie was applying for this scholarship as well. Aryan looked at him then replied that's confidential.

In reality, Imlie didn't have a clue. She had sufficient funds to pay college fees for next two years. She didn't require this scholarship but Aryan didn't divulge the information to Satinder.

Satinder mailed the letter along with the internship certificate he had received the previous day and his articles which were published in Bhaskar Times.

After 3-4 days, he received a congratulatory mail stating that he had received the scholarship. He would be transferred to a new college.

So these past few days, Satinder was running from one college to another submitting documents.

He heard his new professor mention Imlie & Rahul's name. So, he had taken admission in their college. He was happy to see familiar faces.

He took his seat. The professor asked him to introduce himself & share his internship experience. He did and mentioned how he & Imlie were once assigned to an important news.

The class got over. Imlie checked her phone. She had received messages from Aryan & Arpita.

They were planning going for a movie. Aryan had just texted her what's up. She replied affirmative to Arpita's message. She received a WhatsApp group message from Arpita. She sent a thumbs up emoji when Satinder asked her a question.

They talked about their course & Satinder mentioned he was on full scholarship here. He received a scholarship from Bhaskar Times.

Imlie was surprised to hear that. Bhaskar Times provided scholarships. Due to her inconsistent performance the previous year, her scholarship was canceled. She had to pay the fees like rest of the students.

Imlie didn't reply to Satinder, she just left the classroom. Rahul blocked her way. "I got punished because of you. You'll pay for this." He then went away.

The students were still staring at her. They had gotten a juicy gossip. She was having an affair with her boss. This spread like wildfire. The students came to conclusion that since she had an affair with her boss, she had divorced her husband.

She left the college, her mood sour. She laughed at the irony she was having an affair with her own husband.

The world was quick to judge & blame her. All because a man started to malign her.

She was in depressed mood when Aryan went to pick her up. She didn't utter a single word just looked outside the window.

When they reached home, Aryan stopped her and asked her if something had happened in college.

She broke down then sobbed, hugging Aryan she told him everything that had happened in college. And about the rumours.

"Ok then. I'm your boyfriend from now on " Aryan said.

She looked at him. Aryan explained that they were bound to spotted somewhere together which would fuel the affair rumours, so instead they would purposely feed these rumours in their favour.

They had plans for going to movies, this evening. Aryan thought it was a perfect opportunity to use.

Aryan hugged her again then they both went to Arpita to inform her of the plan.

Satinder seems a nice person.

Rahul wants to trouble Imlie.

There are lot of people who judge women and support men😠.

Let's see what Aryan has planned for spreading the runours

Chapter 13

Arpita heard Aryan's plan but she could read in between the lines. Had they taken someone's help to pose as Imlie's boyfriend that would had complicated things. Aryan would sulk most of the time. If Aryan & Imlie were caught together that would start another round of cheating/affair rumour.

It would be best to say Imlie & Aryan were in a relationship.

So, they went for movies. Both Arpita & Aryan made sure Imlie was enjoying herself. Arpita & Imlie forced Aryan for a lot of selfies.

By the time they reached home, Imlie was her usual cheerful self.

Aryan was amused at her antics. Imlie & Arpita were still discussing the movie. They were seated in the living room.

Imlie & Aryan went to their room together. Imlie had to complete assignment & read the chapters that were taught today. Aryan was busy with work. Both silently were working, a new routine was in the making.

Aryan looked towards Imlie engrossed in her work. "Kal hum ek party mein jaa rahe hai. I'll pick up in the evening." Aryan said.

Imlie nodded her head, then continued with her work.

Aryan went to kitchen & made coffee for him & Imlie. He put sugar & milk in Imlie's mug.

He returned to his room with two mugs of coffee & placed one before Imlie "Drink this, tumhe neend nahi aayegi". She drank the coffee without saying a word.

The next day, a new rumour was floating the college that Imlie was in relationship with Satinder & was cheating on Aryan Singh Rathore.

Satinder maintained a distance with Imlie. He couldn't afford to include himself in fake rumour especially when it was evident someone was deliberately trying to humiliate Imlie.

Aryan received a message from Imlie. She informed him about the rumour. Aryan was one step ahead. He had to get involved. So, he called someone to carry out the plan that was forming in his head.

Imlie knew Rahul was behind this. But, he didn't have any problem with her before internship.

As she was going to her next class, she saw Rahul talking to some other students. He was planning to frame her for something. She hurriedly went to her class.

Rahul & his friends entered the class. One of the sat behind Imlie, another sat besides Imlie while Rahul sat in the last row. Imlie was sitting in the third last row.

The lecture began but Imlie was on her guard & alert. In between of the lecture l, she heard a zip opening sound. She looked from the corner of her eyes & saw the one behind her was opening her bag. She knew they were up to something.

She stayed quiet. The lecture was over & they had one more lecture on the same class. So some of the student went to canteen for a quick snack including Rahul & his friends. Handful of students remained in the class.

Imlie looked into her bag & saw mini vodka bottle & cigarette pack which was prohibited inside the college premises. She sneakily transferred these items to Rahul's friends bag who was sitting besides her.

They had left there bags in the classroom.

Imlie then engaged in a conversation with another student discussing the topics taught in previous lecture. Imlie acted as she didn't understand the chapter. So, her fellow classmate sat next to her with her notebook explaining the topics.

Meanwhile, Rahul alerted the Dean that he had seen Alcohol in her bag.

Dean along with Rahul & his friends entered the classroom. Dean asked Imlie for her bag.

Her favourite professor entered the classroom just then for the lecture. Dean asked her to check Imlie's bag. She checked & saw notebooks, water bottle & tiffin.

Dean looked at Rahul & his friends. Imlie then asked for reason behind this checking. He replied he received a complaint against her.

Imlie then said that she too had complained against these three students standing next to her & demanded their bags be checked as well.

Dean agreed & checked their bags one by one. He found alcohol & cigarettes in Atul's bag, the one who sat besides her.

Dean took the three students with him to his cabin while the lecture started. She then went home.

Imlie informed Aryan as soon as reached home. Aryan asked her not to worry, he was not letting him get away.

Imlie then hugged Aryan & kissed him on his cheeks.

"Thank you" she whispered, hugging him tightly.

A/N: My apologies for the long wait. But this new track made me lose interest in the show. One of the reasons for the delay.

What are your thoughts about this new separation/Malini/Gudiya track ?

Why is Rahul is after Imlie 🤔.

Imlie kissed Aryan 🤩. Waiting for next.

About the recent track, it was too early to bring the baby track, there was a possibility to introduce any other track this. I think the track could work if they avoid the fast track speed of it.

Chapter 14

Imlie then hugged Aryan & kissed him on his cheeks.

"Thank you" she whispered, hugging him with all her strength.

Aryan was shocked at her gesture. He kissed her forehead in return then hugged her tightly.

Next day, Aryan was busy with his work. He was working on his new project with Mr. Oberoi. He recently learned that apart from Mr. Oberoi, there was another shareholder, a major significant one.

Aryan didn't know the identity of this third shareholder on the resort project.

Rahul & his friends were suspended on grounds of ragging, spreading rumours, violation of college rules.

Dean received multiple complaints against them anonymously including Imlie's.

When Imlie reached college that day, all her classmates were gossiping about Rahul's suspension from college.

Imlie's day was uneventful, thanks to Rahul's absence.

She went home to find Aryan. He had arrived early as he was invited to a party that evening.

Aryan wanted Imlie to accompany him but because they were hiding their marriage, he couldn't.

Aryan dressed in his black tuxedo. Imlie was mesmerisingly looking at him.

Then she averted her eyes when she was nearly caught ogling by Aryan.

Aryan had noticed Imlie's attention on him & he was enjoying it.

He asked Imlie to help him tie the bow tie. She helped him, looking at Aryan every few seconds. Aryan was constantly looking at his wife.

Aryan noticed Imlie had tied the bow tie but she didn't back off instead she was leaning towards him.

Aryan hesitantly stroked her cheeks with his thumb while Imlie closed her eyes.

The moment was broken by Aryan's phone ringing but Aryan side hugged Imlie then picked his phone.

Meanwhile, Imlie rested her head on his chest, hugging his waist.

Imlie observed she was getting used to Aryan's attention & hug's which they shared quite frequently.

Imlie realised she was getting used to Aryan & if for some reason they separated she would not be able to deal with that. Was she in love with Aryan? Imlie didn't have any answer to that. But she definitely wanted him in her life.

Aryan finished his call, then again kissed Imlie's forehead.

He then left shortly for the party.

Aryan reached the venue, he immediately spotted Mr. Oberoi with his wife. He missed Imlie, seeing many of his business associates with their wives.

Imlie, on the other hand was not able to focus on her assignment. Her thoughts were with her husband. She missed his presence, remembering the time when she looked up one time to see Aryan working who was looking handsome in just black shirt whose 2-3 buttons were opened & trousers.

Imlie was lost looking at him. She was sometimes not able to concentrate when he wore black.

Imlie told herself to focus she had to submit her assignment tomorrow.

Rahul drove aimlessly before going to his destination. Imlie had him almost expelled. Hadn't he used his connections, he would've been instead he just got suspended.

Rahul had never paid her much attention, only when they both got the internship in Bhaskar Times. Rahul had to bribe some poor student who wrote him the articles for the competition.

She overshadowed him, being the first intern whose article was published. He had gotten a lousy mentor Ranjit. He had heard him & Aditya conspiring against Imlie. So he indirectly gave Ranjit the idea to give Imlie wrong bus timings then blame her when she didn't reach Haryana or reached late.

Rahul thought his plan was flawless but his plan didn't include Aryan Singh Rathore. For Imlie to actually call him & him to personally give her lift to & fro Haryana. He was shocked. It didn't seemed like Aryan paid Imlie even a bit attention. She was always working with Mr. Roy or sometimes different mentors. He then realised Aryan wanted Imlie to gain knowledge from different sources.

Rahul received a message, he then smiled to himself.

Tik tok Imlie, enjoy while you can, he thought.

Imlie looked up to see Aryan wearing black, his buttons opened, shelves rolled up.

He's back early, she thought. Did he miss her too?

Aryan went towards her & whispered in her ears with his baritone voice "Tujhe toh pyaar ho gaya hai pagli"

Imlie replied "haan, haan ABP"

"Wo bhi mujhse" Aryan replied smirkingly.

She turned her head towards Aryan and looked in his eyes. Her face was very close to his. She saw him leaning towards her, his eyes on her lips then she closed her eyes.

"Imlie" Arpita called.

Imlie opened her eyes, she saw she was alone in the room. She had dreamed about Aryan.
