MIL slapping DIL

I am deeply disturbed by how easy was it for Narmada to get instigated and slap her DIL.

My question is simple- What makes it so easy for MIL to cross their line and slap their DIL? Who gave them the right?

My personal opinion is we are all adults. You got a problem, talk to DIL. In no situation , I repeat, in no situation are you allowed to raise hand on your DIL… I don’t support this at all, this is domestic violence and should NOT be tolerated 😡

In many developed countries , it is next to impossible to see a MIL slapping a DIL and DIL happily taking the shi*. Their rule is simple- give respect to earn respect. Being elder in age doesn’t give them the right to abuse. Why is so difficult for our society to understand?

Also, some may be of the opinion that if mother slaps it’s okay for daughter then why not MIL? She is also a mother now. For that, my answer is I am totally against slapping from anyone. Once adults, they should be treated like ones.

I know it’s my personal opinion but would love to hear your thoughts on the same.

I do applaud the social issues they have raised in the past in the show but not ok to make slapping by MIL/elders at in-laws place raising hand on DIL.

How casually it is taken, I hate it.

Domestic violence should not be tolerated at any cost. But keeping track record of makers in mind, they will brush this aside 😡

Since it's precap, I'm still hoping it's a dream sequence of BM or something... Can't believe Narmada of all people will do it, so I'll hold my reaction till tomorrow.

I am kinda believing it, I kinda believe she is foolish.

She couldn’t speak when her own daughter was called vidhwa in a disgusting way by BM, was ready to not accept the marriage after instigation by BM, she can do this.

If it happens, we are seeing story repeat. Abusive in-laws. Mental and Physical violence are both domestic violence.

Really hoping it doesn’t happen in the show. It is watched by masses and definitely sends a bad message.

Exactly, when TRP aunties watch it, some of them may be MIL and DIL too… it sends a terrible message that MIL can slap and DIL should accept how the FL will quietly do coz she is so mahaan.

This show is turning into a shitty crap... Utter crap..

This lady narmada has no guts to speak against her own relatives..

Her own dayghter dowry issue..

All the time she is just crying and now she got so much manipulated that she slapped..🤣 i wish..i have some magic wand so i can erase the memories of this serial..frm my head .

I am dam sure they are going to butcher aryan too! Making imlie mahaan😭😭 😑

Seriously, why I thought this serial will be any different. There are good directors and cinematographers but writers are totally shi*. If they have no good storyline, take the suggestions from audiences. But no, they will serve us disaster but won’t step up their game. All crap served from last 2-3 months, no logic just disgusting tracks. Can’t believe first 350+ episodes were written by these writers or we had some change since last 50?

Wanted to slap the trio but first Narmada, seriously no brain of your own? When the wife needed a hug, she is slapping her 😡
