Till last week many of us had believed that the moment Aryan got connected to Imlie subconsciously for the first time, was the one in Simran's attire. But, recent episode gave us the exact answer. Aryan closes his eyes and the first memory that plays in his mind is that of chirpy Imlie in gheele baal. From that day, I was thinking why that particular moment got etched in his mind first. And yesterday's introduction to old carefree Aru gave the answer. Imlie in gheele baal was the first time Aryan came across the carefree Imlie and there he found his old self in her. Till then, Aryan had seen her only as a person with lots of self-respect, who believed in herself and had great potential. It's on previous day to this gheele baal morning he comes to know that Imlie is Adi's wife and that they are not in good terms; the same night he again comes across Adi's egoistic self against Imlie w.r.to her front page article and then later sees Imlie hiding behind the car so that Adi doesn't sees her. This much was enough for a shrewd person like Aryan to understand the tough emotions Imlie was going through. But, what he sees in front of his eyes the next day morning is, a carefree chirpy girl enjoying her moment inspite of all the pain & struggles she was passing through. And, though he warns her not to repeat it, next scene we get to see is, him bowing down to her order not to step ahead with his shoes on as it's her sacred place of worship (though temporarily). He then has the blessings on her insistence and leaves the place. Later that night, situations pan out in a way that he takes her to Rathore mansion. Again there, he gets to see the chirpy part of Imlie who mingles with Arpita's friends forgetting the pain she had been through moments back. In those two days Aryan understood Imlie in a way Adi couldn't in the last 1year. He realised that she was a girl to whom her self-respect was of prime importance; he realised that she was a girl with strong fighting spirit; But above all he realised that Imlie was slowly moving towards a phase where her chirpy & carefree nature was slowly fading away. From that day onwards, Imlie's silence and tears started affecting Aryan. And thereafter, whenever he sees her down he made sure to lift her up. Because, Aryan never could imagine Imlie turning into a closed book like him, even for a second.

Imlie has not yet realised the power she holds on Aryan. Imlie...next time you want to turn Aru crazy, you don't have to do anything, just act to be moody and silent...you will get your job done. 🤣

those old golden days are slowly returning *fingers crossed*

the morning before geele baal scene when she came to submit her report he ws already impress by her. when she speak about women n how world treat woman who cant make big n just silently keep doing her work the whole talk she gave abt women working n her article, he just hear. he didnt praise her that time n cover up with his 'its for my business' reason but she ws speaking with so much emotion that he understood her feeling... n what u say after that is right. the moment he saw her sleeping in office n when he pull water bottle from her hand - for one sec i felt he pull in anger but he ws pulling cos he wanted to open it n give it to her not to not give her water cos her hand ws full of her thing but she just went n he didnt stop her n keep looking at the water bottle. aryan ws shock to hear how much she suffer in the sorry imlie scene of divorce n even the bridge scene ws so good obv .. by then he already hv soft cornr for her tht why he took her to the meeting trap by AC cos he wanted to give her chance ...actually there is no one moment when u can pin point this moment he fell in love or this moment she fell in love... they just make their place in each other life n heart early only, slowly it only become a bigger feeling for them n also slowly accept that they r there in eo life as whatever -boos employee, mentor, friend partner n now husban-wife. in DDLJ scene he just took the payal n kind accepted himself tht she is special for him n if imlie didnt tel him she canot fall in love again after Malini PF he would hv propsed also instead of putting his feeling in his lock heart. that day he lock his heart actually.

So true..and I wish like BM all tricks of this modern Sadhu will actually get Arylie together and maybe a confession too.

Aryan always said he has only one Mrs that's Imlie but today we got a glimpse of Aru who flirted with Imlie. And knew how to tease her and used Mrs Lambigaadi as bait.

Am hoping with this track, even Aru might come back. And it will be so good to see him. Two goofball together what a treat to watch 😍😍😍

Why I pinpointed the gheele baal moment is because that was the first memory Aryan remembered about Imlie and secondly because I felt that would be when he felt that soul connection with her. Before that, it would have been him just being impressed with Imlie's strong personality.

Bold - You have mentioned two of my favourite scenes which I go back watching repeatedly to see how best Fahmaan and Sumbul are in their job. The pain and angst we feel for Imlie's and Aryan's past in these scenes, can't be described with mere words. 😢

I agree, Aryan definitely felt the connection then. He was spellbound he didn't say a word to her or express any disgust or displeasure when her hair touched his face. And let's be honest actually it might have hurt him but he enjoyed it. Moment later he asked her about other things but not a word about her gheele baal across his face. It was as if he actually liked it and felt good with that touch..

Agree...and in PC Aryan was in kitchen. Maybe to get fresh coffee with some food too.

In college also, first date starts with coffee...so Aru is asking his wife for coffee date.

Love this slow burn, Arylie deserve to enjoy and cherish this courtship period. Just because they got married doesn't mean they need to miss out on this phase. And Aryan may have dated girls in past, I feel Imlie is his first love otherwise he is not type to break or leave his girl midway.

In one of your reply to my posts, I remember reading that you have been waiting for last 84 episodes to see the old charm back. And I was surprised that you couldn't enjoy even till the 100th Arylie episode, contrary to many Arylieans and was wondering why. To me till 100th episode, the execution was superb and from then till Surpita track, though I was not happy, I was being patient with the makers because of the unexpected turns they had to face due to someone's exit. But this FF Surpita track really got to my nerves that I started feeling like I shouldn't have praised and complimented the makers so soon.😔 I hope with the new track, makers will not disappoint us again.

I feel a bit disconnected from episode of wedding proposal, post wedding was better until surpita marriage track.

I can watch with detachment for entertainment only.

It's an ITV show, ups and downs in story are part and parcel to it.
