Jab koi saath Nahi deta, tab sirf apna lakshya saath deta hai. - ASR told this to Imlie in Episode 339 when she falls weak after signing the divorce papers and today she puts it into practice. The episode before this, Episode 338, will be one of my favourite as it was an awakening episode for Imlie on how she needs to stand up and fight for herself. By saying sorry to herself for all the misfortunes she put herself through, I would say that is where Imlie started walking the path of progression. And in today's episode I was glad to see an Imlie who instead of sitting and whining on the hurting words Aryan said, decided to continue with her 'lakshya' of exposing Uday. And I would not be surprised if she walks away with head held high from the Rathores tomorrow, as she has been constantly told on her face by Aryan that R's are not her family and that she doesn't have to act like a typical bahu. The current Imlie is a much more stronger and confident version than the one who walked off the T house. And why shouldn't she be? After all, she was mentored by the great ASR to believe that letting her emotions overpower her is a sign of weakness. Hence, don't be surprised if you get to see a reflection of our old Akkadbakka in Imlie in the upcoming episodes.
I have stopped watching the episodes as a whole, since last Saturday; instead I am back to watching the initial Arylie episodes and watching only the important clips of the current episodes on TT/IG. And I have realized that Aryan was initially brought in only to be a catalyst in lmlie's progression to being the successful confident woman her Amma had always dreamt off. Infact, it was clearly shown that even before he fell for Imlie, Aryan had developed a kind of respect and admiration for Meethi, through subtle nuances in his facial expressions, whenever Imlie's talks involved Meethi... hinting about how Aryan is in Imlie's life to fulfill Meethi's dreams of Imlie. But, what changed the game to focussing on Arylie too was Fahmaan's convincing way of portrayal of ASR/Aryan as a character plus his undescribable chemistry with Sumbul whenever they are in one frame. Yet, that doesn't mean that Aryan's character will get a dignified treatment as Imlie's character. Firstly because this is ITV and secondly because, there is a reason why the current montage has only Imlie's face in it, unlike the previous one where all the 3leads were present. If it was otherwise, CVs wouldn't have dared to touch some of the core characteristics of Aryan in the recent tracks and we wouldn't have been presented with a dumb Aryan who never thought of doing a background check of Uday; instead is shown trusting BM more than Imlie. I can justify all his behaviour w.r.to not opening up with Imlie or not trusting her intentions of saving Arpita or keeping her at an arm's length with hurting words or being the guilt-ridden over protective selfish brother of Arpita. But, I can't understand why the CVs have to compromise on the sharp and shrewd character of ASR who used the face recognition app to get the details of the rowdies who was to harm Imlie. Also, the CVs giving Aryan that dialog of him having chances of repeating the same mistakes as a reason of asking her not to return to him, really didn't go well with me. It felt like CVs were putting up an advance excuse for all the butcherings they are coming up with Aryan's character. So, my suggestion to Arylie fans is to have very low expectations and to better watch the show as Imlie's story only. That way you can spare yourself from loosing your peace of mind.
Have a nice day.😊
