Untill now, when he's ready to supress that pain with new memories.

I think if it was something unpleasant, then even the frame would have been cut out. so maybe it meant a lot but he needed it out of his life? so he keeps the frame but gets rid of the photo? I found it interesting that he chooses their wedding photo out of a newspaper as a new memory.....

I was never focused on this empty frame scene, because, all the pictures, taken during wedding and it's celebrations, takes days to reach the respective couplesđŸ„±.

And the empty frame, means, he has someone in his life, but, he was not accepting that someone and his feelings towards them. But, yesterday, by putting the first picture he saw of his wife together with him😃 in the picture frame, he is showing, he is slowly starting to accept that person, and his feelings towards herđŸ€—â€ïž.

Right?

Be prepared, his ex the former love of his life whose photo used to occupy that frame is coming back. Imlie is gonna get some competition y'all and just when she is about to finally accept this marriage as real.

Ok. I don't know. I feel like this is what this thread is trying to lead us to speculate about.

Crazy ideas but here it goes:

The frame clearly holds meaning. He only has pictures of who he considers family:

Scenario 1: There was a picture of him and Arvind. One he couldn't bear to look at anymore. One he needed to put away. And yet he couldn't get rid of the frame. The frame a reminder of the emptiness in his life after Arvind left, the frame a reminder of his vow for revenge, the frame a promise of not forgetting.

But now, as Imlie takes the lead in this investigation and gets closer to the truth. He knows he will fulfil his promise. He fill this empty place and the move on, with her.

Why the blinds? Because it was a private moment. One he needed to explore alone.

Scenario 2: A picture of him, Arvind and someone else. The someone else who is going to be your new villain. He removed it because the someone else left him alone with his pain and loss of Arvind, He could never replace that hurt and so he never put a photo back in. However, the revelation will be that the third person actually orchestrated Arvind's murder.

Ex lover?? I don't think so. Or let's say I hope not :)

I won't be surprised if that happens. I wondered for a second if it was a photo of Arvind and Aryan but if it was, Aryan would have cried. He gets immensely emotional on all things related to Arvind. He wanted the room in exact same way it was earlier -- he also explicitly told Imlie that she had no right changing things around in that room. So I dismissed Arvind; while an old lover would make sense, it is the melancholy of the scene and loneliness that struck me. He is willing to replace whatever memory that photo showed with a wedding photo. But when he looks at the wedding photo itself, he still looks sad. So not sure if it was an old lover either... so many conflicting thoughts and feels!

Man, did you read all those articles and all. Please don't read them, because before Imlie, Aryan was never in Love😳. He put the frame there, when he started to get a different emotion build up in himđŸ„±. And already BD is enough, no need for another competitionđŸ€Ł.

So, don't read those articles, they are just publishing NON-EXISTING FACTS, some were even taken from FFs of Indian Forum.

see my previous reply to bea1 about scenario 1; also didn't think it was an old lover.

I am curious about scenario 2 -- that would be unusual as well as interesting. so someone who was a friend but lost after Arvind's death -- someone who may or may not be responsible? but then there would be anger right? instead, it was just sadness and weariness.....

No I did not read any articles. Those articles ae usually in Hindi anyway so that automatically excludes my ability to read them.

In essence my post was just saying that the way @ mango structured her post it was in a way that could only lead to the conclusion that the frame used to hold the picture of an ex.

Sorry @mango maybe that's not how you meant it but that's how it came across to me.

You know, it's alright😃. You spoke up, so a great misunderstanding was resolvedđŸ‘đŸŒ. But, then also don't read the articlesđŸ€Ł. I am always laughingđŸ€Ł, whenever I remember those articlesđŸ€Ł. So, please don't feel sadđŸ€—â€ïž.
