This is soo funny !!!🤣 But, I hope he doesn't think she is pulling a fast one to dupe him about something else/conceal some other ulterior motive. We are given a overly sensible ML, so of course a lot of expectations from him😊

From the hospital episode, the wheels have turned. Like I mentioned before in a post, he may act tough and nonchalant about it but her words deeply affected him. They say Pani qatra qatra girta rhe tou pathar main bhi surakh kar deta hai. And ASR is a human. Her each and every word of hatred got imprinted in his mind.

And I said before. Imlie will eventually face the Sher Aya (crying wolf) situation which came true. She has lost her credibility in that department. He trusts her character but not her ability to love him or even empathize with his pain.

Dekha jaye tou they both are not there yet. Aryan just realizes that he loves her subconsciously. But there are multiple factors at play.

It's funny how they both (Aryan more and imlie very less) know the other as in we solve an equation or an algorithm of a machine's working. How other person's mind works, their reflex actions, basic character traits, likes dislikes. But emotionally they both are not able to read each other. Hence the basic conflict. She's oblivious to the very apparent longing in his eyes. And he takes each and every word of her to be true.

They will keep on stumbling like that. But the day they are able to emotionally read each other will be the day they will fully trust each other.

That day, imlie will realize she loves him and why he did what he did. And Aryan will bring down his walls and be vulnerable in front of her.

What i feel that trust isn't absolute between them yet, it's a budding relationship, and has to go through test of times but at the same time they've a strong foundation which they've to build on as well.

They trust each other on basic level. As humans, friends, spouse in arrange marriage (after few months courtship) because that's what they are.

It will take lots of situations which they experienced together to reach to that level of trust which is not blind but rooted in the fact that I know the person who is my partner, come what may.

Great points @shabia1; makes a lot of sense. like you said, in one way, they read each other reflexes well but are unable to understand each other's emotions. Plus, the lack of trust means they don't trust the instinctive read and instead try to read some strategy or play that may or may not be there. So it makes it harder to read each other's emotions or genuinely feel each other's pain. So it is an interesting mix of trust and at the same time, a huge lack of trust.

That's the thing. Trust is not one dimensional. It's multidimensional, multilayered. Not so easy to understand and definitely hard to build or earn.

While on some levels, they both have complete trust on each other, while they falter in other levels.

It's alright. It's a long process. They have just started in way. Eventually both of them will get there, together. It will be a beautiful journey. I hope it gets executed in that way and not lost in trp drama.

aryan trusts imlie but also knows her well enough to know that she's not the best at decision making when it comes to the people she considers her own, tho in this situation for as much as he doesn't want her in his business, he's using it as a teaching moment.
