Aditya was not wooden, I never said that. He just preferred to not overdo the facial emotions, and Manasvi emulated that as he moved into the character.
Anyway, enough, I am going back to watching Adilie in Pagdandya.
"So Manasvi moving into the role of Aditya was simply following his lead. Adi seldom had a face full of emotions no matter what the situation. He showed his feelings when Imlie was around more and more. So not fair to say Manasvi is wooden with no acting, when he is following the previous actor."
Just quoting you here where you say that it's not fair to say Manasvi is wooden with no acting when he is following the previous actor (I.e. Gashmeer) which would imply that Gashmeer is responsible for setting up the character as such that MV's acting, in fact, comes across as "wooden and no acting".
Just curious, what in Aditya's character sketch made Gashmeer not "overdo facial emotions?"
Is Aditya a sociopath or someone who's had unresolved trauma prior to his gun-point wedding?
Anyhow, it stands that you said that Manasvi emulates Gashmeer
Therefore,
Gashmeer = Manasvi
Cheers!
Enjoy the PD Adilie scenes! I just love it when they intersperse it with scenes of Malini missing her husband or worrying about him.
Just gives it that flair of forbidden romance!
