Well if she didn't want to lose her 'Trusty friend' she should have not alleged that he used her to take Revenge on AKT especially when had told her twice before that he would never use anyone especially her as a tool of shield in this tussle between him and her ex. She has been accusing and acussing and calling names and every time Aru has said if you believe that fine. I don't think Aryan needed to defend himself yet if she had asked calmly to explain the whole situation and his revenge, Aru would have told her but instead she went on and one claiming he used her, he lied to her. While every time they had a 50-50 partnership Aru has goven 60% from his side, Imlie just talks about the partnership but its like for her it is take take take pertnership with nothing to give especially in terms of Trust.
As for Aru being her punching bag. She may be hurt, traumatised but that does not justify her using Aru as a punching bag. If we say this we might as well justify her ex's behaviour of using imlie as a punching bag as well. Venting and Ranting is one thing but saying outright mean and hurtful things is just not digested by ne at least. Aru has enabled her calling him weird names but he has never been okay with her accusimg him of being heartless, unprofessional and stuff. As of right now, I don't see any sense in Imlie's character to be honest. How is she more disgusted with Aru and giving pitiful looks to her EX is beyond me. How is she still worried about how her ex will feel seeing her wedding rather than trying to figure out why her friend changed overnight. She is annoying me to be honest and no past trauma, or just 19 toung and naive argument is going to justify it for me.
Oh I am totally with you! He volunteered information at the office despite her walk out, and all day attitude. She still chose to go hyper and again runnnnnn to rescue.
I don't think he needs to explain unless she's willing to have an open conversation about it. Without jumping to conclusions, and without rushing to justify someone's actions when she has no clue about the situation. People react according to the situation, and those can easily be different from what you expect of them.
So again - she refuses to see her own role in their broken friendship. Sound familiar?
I don't like the accusations either. But she went overboard with her accusations even when she figured the terrorist had harmed her ex. He let that go as trauma/ shock speak - but should he? Anytime she gets taunted by any excuse of a character she overdoes the rudeness again only if not mostly to him. I meant enable in that way.
I get it, it's their thing. He's her person and she's his, no matter whether they put a tag on it or not. So it works for them.
She's just imbibed so much of the good qualities of her Apne, that she's mindlessly acting up just cause she can. Well she shouldn't be rude when it's uncalled for! For once someone was treating her right (pre this deal) and she largely took it for granted, and then chose to be all hurt in a jiffy.
How she ... Trust me, where her self respect goes and hides is a mystery to me. Hopefully it shall make an appearance sometime soon..
Edit: I guess inherently she's kind. She can't be unjustly evil or even knowingly cause harm/ hurt to another (exception that comes to mind: Aryan through words and shoves, and that auto driver.. ).
My guess is she's likely compassionate to the ex. I sincerely hope it's just that!
But since she doesn't verbalize the disinterest/ hurt strongly enough and timely enough, he presumes her heart beats for me me me . And she stays on the receiving end more times than not in an extra docile manner with her self respect taking a hike..
