True that the Rathore women have not been shown sharing their last with her, and are emotionally better sorted ladies. Single mom responsibilities and tragedy has sort of shaped them to be more responsible, accountable and compassionate, pleasantly surprised that is the case.

Tfam has lived in a happy bubble pre imlie. She is conditioned to them and has not really seen another healthy family to notice the difference. Hard habit to break. And she's likely unwilling to have more of her trust in reading people break were she to face that they are not as high and mighty as she believes them to be.

Also her worldly sense takes a hike when it comes to her own self. And unfortunately shan't end anytime soon I think!

It likely hasn't yet sunk in her head that these women didn't call her gold digger or question her motives when she showed up as married to the Rathore heir. Or that they stopped to check if she was ok and not taken advantage of. The girl just doesn't want to see:(

On the flip side, when she realizes the value of the Rathore family and how they are such gems, she will likely go attack anyone who comes up against them. Since we are going to have a wedding, I think eventually we are going to have a WWF rumble between the Rathores and the T family. There was a moment of glimpse when she gets the flash backs and he has something in his eyes. And then they go ruin it again.

And Imlie and his equation aside why did he not shut up the ladies when they were bad mouthing Meethi?

Bold: This made me so sad because the one who shall not be named started keeping silent dheere dheere at these small things and that’s when story and character downfall (even more) began. And the abuse started intensifying 😭 bad flashbacks, sadly they think cheap insults like these get more entertainment and have no idea how to be creative besides it

I actually didn’t watch today, WU was enough to make me go naah not for me.

The track is very all over the place. Same gripes as always. Aryan’s motives are so unclear and his behaviour coming out more sketchy than relatable. Because it’s been shown as if he is standing between imlie and her true love for tripathis. What grounds can we even blame akt on when he’s not wrong completely, she is being pressured and she is confused as heck. They went horribly wrong with handling of imlie’s pov right from the moment when they made her nearly die, sob and crawl for akt post the wedding to malini and sl*t shaming when he was in danger. How are people supposed to relate to her pain or understand aryan when she feels sad only at the concept of being away from tripathis and not her own humiliation. It’s like aryan is forcing her to feel humiliated by the tripathis when she actually considers it a boon. Who can relate to an fl like that? Or root for the pair? They made mistakes in her characterisations that will keep costing them and this change in aryan is not very likeable too, especially when there seems to be no conflict but contrived instances banaye jaa rahe for some stupid misunderstanding. Aditya should have been shown wrong in arvind’s case instead of falsely blaming him for weather of all things. Yeah itv is watched for entertainment value but thodi sense bhi banni chahiye so the angst and conflict at least has some substance.

As for trp.. I don’t really care but they seem to be on the same page as most online audience. We know it’s not the former pair that’s the problem because they’ve been nearly nonexistent a long time now and imlie was close to aryan even before the whole remarriage divorce drama. It’s again, all over the place nonsensical story and so many out of the blue character changes. For trp audience it’s always been clear lines, imlie against something or for something. Imlie’s haq. Imlie’s struggle to get acceptance. Her struggle against malini. For tripathis. And then against aditya himself. And now? What the hell does she want? To be with tripathis? Ok why should the audience feel she shouldn’t be when they’re so good? So what is the conflict? We know she was humiliated once upon a time but they watch on a day to day basis. And right now imlie doesn’t care at all about humiliation. And no one remembers or addresses it. So why should we feel her pain ? What pain? And they didn’t spend enough time on arylie for them to care about their angst and misunderstanding (which is badly written anyways) because it was always imlie crying or pining for tripathis. Right now aryan’s actions makes no sense and usse yeh sab chupaana forcing her to ‘save’ her when tripathis are good and he himself takes her there and simply telling her there is no revenge would get her back on his side, kiss cheez se kaun protect horaha kisko kya chahiye nothing makes sense. They ran the show on certain regressive principles and weren’t brave enough to clearly change that isliye faux progressive ke saath saath wahi purana all sacrificing fl bhi chala rahe.

Online audience is also nearly on the same frequency. They created hype for this show it hadn’t seen in its year long run and weren’t able to deliver tbh. Quite a few of my friends who hated the show and would want me to stop lol, started watching post aryan and more than half have stopped already. Their motivation? A second chance story, some entertainment. A gul hero who is kinda unlike gul heroes. Half stopped angered by how imlie’s character is sketched, the loving humiliation crap and running back to abusive ex and fam and how it didn’t seem to change. Half are leaving now after this substantial change in asr. Honestly, the biggest problem is how they put all the burden of progressing the story on one asr while made imlie too dumb to want better for herself. And now they’re doing anything to grab those ratings, except drawing clear lines between who wants what and who is right and wrong (that is more for the ratings audience I am ok with subtext, like it better but apparently it doesn’t work on tv, although even the subtext here makes little sense lol) and in turn no one is relatable right now because no one makes sense. What are they even against 😭?! Self created stupid misunderstandings and delusions.

to be honest, a better drama could have been derived if they really had been forced to marry in pagdandia and their refusal to accept,ts, aditya, narmada se chupaana and akt finding out and creating hindrances, malini ko bhi koi role dedete.. while they slowly fall in love etc, I mean if they really had to do force marriage 🤷‍♀️

Even besides this plenty of better paths but yeh asr change and stupid weather crap while innocent adi ts weep and imlie is an ever confused and confusing fl they chose lol. Never seen a ph disregard and mess their fl as much as this, first time their fl had trauma and a world of problems ml could have helped her against. But instead he becomes a hindrance between her love for her abusers.. ok.

Basically,

Can’t work. Can’t show how its wrong and humiliating for her while making her feel zero humiliation and glorify her abusers. Literally. No conflict. Imlie is not sad about it. Why should we feel sad? Asr has made up delusions that don’t seem to be real and is making actions based on that. Behaving unlike himself. So how do we root for him? Mostly, it’s just the actors and their chemistry keeps me here ab tak. Much else they’ve messed badly with.

To be honest. The caps I saw of aryan meethi sundar my favs, standing with imlie against aditya didn’t do much for me. I went. Acha ok. Theek hai. But why? Imlie doesn’t mind. Aditya is supposedly good man weeping for ghaltyaan which she relates to. So why?

So much they could do with arvind’s angle. Or at least make imlie uncomfortable with him or the idea of going back to him. So, we at least could go. Yes! In your face, she has an army. Right now I just sigh at the army ke alright but why

I’m so disappointed I got sucked into ITV again. I had hopes from this show and all I can say is I saw them crashing down. You are right Imlie herself is confused. And worse ASR the one good thing is behaving to god damn stupidly. I’m going to take a break. And just watch old episodes which showed so much potential and read FF.
