Dropping a tiny appreciation bomb

Okay, I’m going to preface this by saying that I’m a huge Jennifer Winget stan. I used to think that there isn’t another actress on ITV today who can match her acting calibre.

Enter Imlie and Sumbul Touqeer.

Gosh, where do I even start. This girl. WOW. The sheer embodiment of talent. Watching her act in intense and emotional scenes is like watching a movie. It’s amazing how she breathes life into a scene and takes it to new heights with her top notch acting. I’ve observed that most of the compliments and praises the show has been getting on various social media platforms have been focused on Gashmeer, and more recently Fahmaan. Not to say that they are undeserving of it, they absolutely are. But so is Sumbul. She deserves so much more love, appreciation and accolades for her hard work that always shows on screen. She has even carried some episodes in their entirety on her shoulders, and took them to another level. Take the recent episode with the tandav performance. I felt that that episode belonged entirely to Sumbul. In my opinion, no other ITV actress could have done a better, more convincing ‘Imlie’ than Sumbul Touqeer. The makers definitely struck solid gold with her.

And might I add, she is so beautiful. 😍 How gorgeous and expressive are her eyes. The way her eyes light up whenever she smiles always gives me that precious feeling. I don’t know if anyone else sees it, but to my eyes, she bears a resemblance to Rani Mukherji. During the Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna sequence, her expressions kept giving me the “if Rani Mukherji and Kajol had a baby” vibe. Such beautiful expressions. And then there’s her incredible dancing. My eyes barely blinked during the Awari and Shiddat dance sequences. She has such a presence. To be leading one of the top 5 running ITV shows at the mere age of 19 is such an incredible feat. To be doing a master class job at it is another. I bet she’ll be at the top of her game by her mid twenties. This girl is fast on her way to becoming a part of the crème de la crème of ITV. She truly deserves to be. 👏🏽 👏🏽 Can’t wait to see all the magic that she’ll hereafter create, both in the show and beyond. ❤️

I absolutely agree. Top talent infact..When she smiles, we smile, when she cried, it broke my heart.

She is a joy to watch and the fact that she can also inspire irritation in us because of the character means she emotes really well on screen.

Yes, so true. Completely agree with you. She is a power house of talent. She carries out all the genres so perfectly, be it comedy, romance or drama...Her hold on the dialect is also very good. Everything comes so naturally in her scenes.

Correction: She turned 18 last year in November.

Yes i agree at such a young age she has put so much work into her character. As it really shows how hard working she is and may she always keep achieving great accomplishments in future.❤️

P.S. i feel the same for Jennifer even i love the actress seen all her work and even she works hard for her character as well as the story...❤️
