Chapter 5 thoughts:

Obv love it all 😆

But this:

"Maybe she only knew how to love and not how to be loved."

& this:

"Meethi had been feeling like bit of a god, if she could please be forgiven. A person who could see things synchronously but couldn't really interfere in things."

really resonated with me. Especially the first part bc so many a time, we (okay, I'll just say relative to me 😆) know how to give, give, give BUT rarely can we accept from others or learn to love ourselves.

I still chuckle at the active thought I put into saying "thank you" for a compliment instead of downplaying by saying "oh, it's no big deal."

Where are your Chapter 3 review? Especially loved writing that.

My lips are naturally a redder-bluish pink, every sort of pink melds into my natural tone, but yessss to the nudes and the wines!

I was in all sorts of blues whilst writing Chapter 5. You know my quirk? Saying "thank you" in response of a "thank you"

Had tons of caffeine the other day - topped off with Turkish coffee & was buzzing until 4 am 🥲 Me thinks it was my mind racing more than the coffeeeez

One, I enjoy the music so keep it coming

Two, looks like AryLie have a lot of introspection and there’s a transparent convo to be had. Can’t wait to see where you take this

I’ve been awol, what’s this 15 post thing. Is this why I’m seeing delta-ben everywhere 🤣

I think the bold is my only thought for chapter 3.

I enjoyed the chapters, but I see AryLie at internal crossroads. To acknowledge or not. To introspect or not. to see the writing on the wall (as it's being formed) or not. They're not misunderstanding or on different pages, but these inner feelings are not being fleshed out. AryLie are blanketing the change with a comfort blanket if you will. I think you wrote a certain fork-in-the-road for them which has yet to be reasoned. So I thought, let me see where you take the story but a conversation within themselves is necessary

I think the next time someone says a compliment to me, I'm going to say, "You are too much much!"😆 iykyk

Right. The reason I have been focusing primarily on Imlie in the last couple of chapters is because yes-no decisions don't come easily to her. She keeps on meandering. To have an internal conversation with herself at the moment would also mean chosing a definitive path wrt the marriage. And let's be honest, her life has been disrupted far more significantly than Aru's. She might not be ready to accept or ratify the marriage yet, but is she willing to live with the alternative? She doesn't have the excuse of one-year-ka-rishta to keep coming back to the Rathores and Aru, if an annulment takes place.

So she will meander till she realises the boat she's in.

Aru, on the hand, is someone who knows how to live with his own decisions but also Imlie's decisions. Lately he melds according to whatever hair-brained decision Imlie has taken. But here, till Imlie takes a decision, he's suspended as well, y'know?

Absolutely, agree!

Even the show is in this ambiguous space, too 😆
