All writers needs to take a lesson or 2 from the #1 show on how to write romance imo.

Because before Imlie can say anything, they end up playing jaaniya. So the audience is supposed to understand that this is coming from a place of good intentions.

BTW, some folks on twitter said we're allowed to outrage on this aggressive behavior only if we also outraged on similar behavior from Adi. I wish to confirm that I did outrage at that time also!! Someone even quoted by outrage post on Instagram. 🤨

I don't watch many Hindi soaps these days but previously I used to watch YHM and in that the FL has slapped the ML a few times if I remember right.

Slapping can be rationalised in the context but male slapping female generally receives a large outcry because of feminism

And female slapping male is generally seen as women empowerment... Again context and perspective matter.

I would have liked to see that. Not a slap, but if Imlie called it out and made him apologize. Slapping would be too aggressive for the kind of relationship they have. Aditya deserved to be slapped, but she only called him an idiot. I wish she had done more then because stupid and idiot are words she uses interchangeably for Aryan all the time, but never for her and her didi's pati parmeshwar.

I agree. Male slapping female has been phased out completely I guess. Have not heard/seen any instances in ages.
