Agreed! Add the longest running show to this which is still getting great ratings (I have never seen it but do follow the current #1). These shows have kept a balance between the negativity and positivity along with avoiding toxic MLs. I thought Gul was finally doing something different with Imlie. After ASR 1.0 I have avoided her shows because the toxicity was too much. Aryan seemed so different, he was more intuitive, more understanding, more accepting, more agreeable, and less aggressive. I hope the PH sees this backlash and avoids such manhandling in the future. They had managed to present a very intriguing grey lead without the toxicity, it's really not hard to continue along that line. Best would be if they rectify this one through an apology from ASR to at least show that he can quickly recognize his mistakes and strives to do better.

@bold - Well, of course he shouldn't be asked questions. I mean, he is her protector. The thing is neither Arpita seems to want to avenge her husband's death, nor does Imlie want to avenge her state. But Aryan just seems to want to avenge someone for something and AKT landed like a laddoo, right in his hands! 🤷‍♀️

Use of brains is not allowed in general. Not just for jaaniya.

High time they bring in some clarity on Aryan and Imlie's relationship. Otherwise, what Aryan is doing is a classic example for a #metoo accusation on a boss by an employee or on a landlord by a tenant🤷‍♀️ Unless of course, there's mutual consent for said behavior

If I got this right... I'm currently not impressed with that show as well!

The chars are too weak and storyline abysmal to hold my attention. There's only so much u can achieve with "chemistry"

Absolutely! At a time when consent is being talked about so much, the least they can show is calling out such behaviour.

To clarify- I was talking about another show there.

And team arylie doesn't mean I'll tolerate nonsense for epic romance (maybe I'd have 10 years ago)

Haha I was so upset when my all time favourite joined as the new ML in it. I felt it as a personal affront. 😆

I agree but what has worked all these years is the balance they maintain and the non-aggressive, non-toxic MLs. I think Imlie can also take pointers from the #2 show for only one thing which is that the FL knows how to stand up for herself and fights her own battles without backing down. This is how they will maintain their ratings.

Aryan is battling enough demons as it is. How will he live with this? We know is an anti-hero, he doesn't need to manhandle the FL to prove that. Why make him aggressive towards a woman, something that goes against his principles? Hopefully, this will be a single faux pas and will be rectified and not repeated.

The relationship shouldn't matter for calling out abuse. Being the husband/boyfriend/boss/friend doesn't give anybody the right to abuse.

He definitely is a good actor and has had amazing chemistry with all co-stars over a decade.

The character is the problem here.... Over the years ML weren't toxic in that show though they were classic entitled princes to fault.

And while last one had daddy issues... This one has mommy issues .. total cringe.

And both fls grate on my nerves in all ways!!!
