Let's us start with him having real time issues not with Akt's presence but the time and effort Imlie is putting onto him which he clearly doesn't deserve. To say he has seen Imlie breaking down and now he doesn't wish a repeat telecast of that. On one hand where Imlie out of compulsion of having a constant habit of worrying about AkT is still worrying Aryan wants to her break free one way or another either by free will or he'll keep her occupied.

The moment where he holds her hands and takes her home and the background "Chal Ghar chalein mere humdam" beautiful 😍🥺🥺 that is what he wants he wants her to be at easy be at home.

The second thay slightest smile of Aryan during the bahu ka kacha times and the monologue confirms that he doesn't want Imlie to waste her life.

Then then OMG that was so good Aryan having fun at her expense like I laughed a lot when he called her, i was like he is enjoying putting her in the spot light and that comment Udhaar dene se Acha gane wali bula lete🤣🤣 true but his intention was just to keep you busy from worrying about AKT.

I didn't mean them realising their love for each other, just Aditya being so physically present all the time. I think Pagdandiya track will bring some sort of climax to the Aditya Jaap even if Imlie pines for him for a long time afterwards. It's Imlie's wifely attitude towards her jiju which bothers him.

Clearly sleep-deprived from that many typos. He hates that Imlie still has wifely attitude towards Aditya even when he's been so utterly shitty to her. So for Imlie to unwittingly expose their intimacy in front of their family was like a gotcha moment for him.

Tripathis have seen their intimacy before but it was never revealed organically by Imlie

Traditionally, and still in some media, males are shown to “slap a person (like a female) to snap her back to reality.” Obviously that’s a huge no-no and isn’t seen as romantic or empathetic anymore, so they went with a grab. They say when you’re hurt in one place, to pinch yourself in another. Confuse your brain and the pain signals.

I see this scene as that and not misplaced machismo.

But this is also them on their “time off”. Even thought this is a BT launch party, this is them at home and not at work, which is a very different dynamic for them. Even Aryan let’s his walls down.

So even though he brought up the boss thing, the biggest difference between their interaction here vs at the T house is that any time they’ve been at the T house it’s been work.

I really liked what you said about haq too. There’s something developing between these two without them realizing. And it’s going to hit them like a ton of bricks when they finally do.
