I am not an Adilie fan and I really believe Adi doesn't deserve her. But I am talking about whether aryan reading the message and deleting it lead to Adi marrying Malini. And it is true. If Aryan hadn't read the message, Adi wouldn't believe that Imlie saw the message and chose not to come. If the message was delivered and he realized that Imlie didn't read the message then Adi would have continued to go look for Imlie. He wouldn't have gone back to the mandap to marry Malini thinking Imlie doesn't want to get back to him.

If Imlie read the message then it would be obvious that she would have her phone with her. Adi first called and then message, so Imlie would have spoke to Adi. when she was going back to the mandap she looked for her mobile to call Adi. So, they would have communicated if she had her phone.

All I am saying is that, Adi marrying Malini is totally on him, but he will be whitewashed because Aryan had Imlie's phone and Malini asked AC to lock Imlie up inside a car. Not even Imlie is going to question Adi's decision to go ahead and marry Malini without any hesitation when he thought she didn't come to him. It will all be put on Aryan and Malini and Adi will be the poor man who got manipulated by everyone.

Definitely makers have left option open to whitewash both Adi and Aryan... depends on the fans and TRP they will decide who would be whitewashed... Aryan because he is thinking to protect Imlie and Adi for getting manipulated by Malini plus Aryan on the side with message deletion. There are people even after Adi marrying Malini, would blame Imlie, Malini and Aryan for it, and not even willing to accept that Adi wasn't dragged or held at gunpoint this time. Plus Malini even said that after Imlie, Adi's priority/responsibility is the baby and Malini, so whitewashing and justifying has already started.
