Somehow I don't think AdiNi marriage will be enough to say something messy in the future won't happen.

It doesn't matter if any of these people are married bc none of them know how to follow through with a marriage or respect the sanctity of marriage

Adi - not wanting to uphold a forced shaadi (which I get), getting a second wife while married to the first, flipflopping emotionally and then not supporting the one he loves, worried about his image & ego

Malini - started off okay but wearing her signifiers of a married lady as a power-tactic (think when they were trying to release Adi from some political exposure- beat gone wrong), purposefully sleeping with another person's loved one, using marriage as a trap, using pregnancy as a leverage. Signed divorce papers with the idea that they don't matter in the grand scheme of things bc AdiNi will get married eventually

Imlie - helping her half-sister get married to Adi, demeaning herself to keep her marriage alive

Somehow marriage doesn't seem like a resolution to anything - just a distraction between this hot mess of a group

Still have like 20 pages to go -- I'm sure this has been discussed 😆

Yeah exactly. I was hoping that Aryan would put an end to Imlie's involvement in this toxic dynamic. But reverse now he's also deep dived to get Imlie her "izzat".

Hopefully that's just a temporary downturn before things get better

Without fail it’s probably the most underrated scene from yesterday’s episodes for the comedy factor alone.

Aryan was bound to get caught up in all this if he’s meant to be with Imlie. But hopefully with the contrast they’ve been showing with the R’s and T’s it’s going to be short lived. Once their own romance track starts I think they’ll need to bring in some other conflict as well.

I’ve only seen the precap so far and wow. I’m appalled but also not surprised. How dare that woman ask that of Imlie. So selfish!
