That's a very secure man who can make sacrifices and take second position to a woman to encourage her to dream. I thought it was very powerful. Then when she panicked about the wind-shields, he turned it off like he was right there to support her. He always stands behind her like a pillar of support.

this was very surprising scene, aryan usually blindsides, but the man is totally secure and sorted.

For me the most under rated Arylie scene would be the payal pocketing scene. I know in light of the whole 'cute lag rahi ho' this part was overshadowed but I loved it. It is classic for a man to pocket jewellery of the woman he loves/will love in not only iTV but also bollywood. I don't know something about Fahmaan and the whole scene made it so beautiful. Of course special mention to the bg score jaaniya 😉

i'll agree to @bold

Imho, Sundar, too, is a better person than Aditya. His masculinity is not that toxic. And, he actually understands Imlie's fears, aspirations, hopes far better than Ts because of the class disparity. Imlie' went from their charity case to their son's need. But Sundar sees her individuality and cherishes her. True friend.

And Aryan (ki didi) usse bhi le jayenge.

rathore's are true progressive 😆

it wouldn't be surprising if they're okay with arpi-sundar

Can we talk about how wonderfully Imlie was looking at Aryan when he was holding her hand and leading her to put a united front in front of people who labeled her unworthy of such partnership? Koi jhijak nahi thi Imlie me when he held her hand waise. She's not in love with him, neither is she ready to move on yet, but subconsciously she knows him as her own person; she notices him and accepts him.

Yes agree....

And unlike other people she has never doubted his intentions, and that says a lot because women are born with creep alert.

If she hasn't questioned it yet means there isn't any discomfort she feels with him.

Imlie’s look today as Aryan drew her to the center to dance spoke volumes. Her “who will this Simran get for her Raj now” was also telling (Scene where Malini berates her in the locked room). To me it meant Imlie was not locked forever in her past but was willing to consider another Raj in her life.

Did not like Aparna’s assurance that her son and Imlie will be together. There was hope and no hope watching Aryan’s mom’s wistful wishing that Aru and Imlie belong together.

She could only consider a new Raj if she's lost all hopes from her earlier relationship. I can't find such instances yet, have u?

Not yet, Imlie is too immersed in hurt just yet to consciously think of another. But she is young, she is exuberant, she loves to be happy and make others happy so it won’t be long if the writers give her a chance to get out of that miserable marriage, its shackles and secrecy, its shame and deceit, its subservience and constant need to please and emerge stronger, successful and a return to what she was in Pagdandia. She already told Malini that she does not want a husband but wants to move ahead, and that she will with Aryan at her side if the story develops progressively.
