You've given the examples of Shivaay and Manik - but both of them got to be larger than life heroes ruling their respective domains even if they had many flaws otherwise......while Adi's case is truly unique cuz he isn't even allowed that regular level of heroism much and yet somehow his core principles and idealism still shine through.....people are so busy fixating on the complications he has trapped himself in that no one even wants to give him the basic benefit of doubt that he does believe in the ideals he talks about - woh bas bolne ko nahin hai. And if he failed to follow them for the complications of his personal life, no matter how frustrating - the truth remains that these have been extraordinary circumstances driven by factors on many levels. Yes, things have now come to the point where they are all brainwashed and guilt-tripped by a shameless Psycho....but that still doesn't take away from Adi's core as a character which is sincere/progressive in his soch. He has never been the type to want to control or compel a woman to do his bidding as most of these so called "hawt businessman" types do on ITV.....heck even the examples you gave here have had their controlling streaks but Adi has never walked that path......and no one gives him that due cuz his cowardice about some things creates for frustrating moments.....lol....so matlab the only choices are total control freaks in the name of so called "hawtness" or to label someone an "abuser" simply cuz they aren't able to stop abuse happening to themselves? lol......yehi oversimplified labels ke wajah se content quality is shit aajkal.

Again as much as I do love shivaay I cannot deny he had his ego trips and the tashan and he did do all cliche hot tropes too in name of bad is good..yes he had a beautiful journey then too but let's not forget that his whole forced shaadi was also a result of how dare her slap him based on something so cheap he said and then to dikhao her sabak for something she didn't even do in first place so yes they all had all the typical elements despite being progressive and do fall more into typical zone too despite having a general overall good character flow and dynamic and lots of pros

The way he's been shown uplifting Imlie has again been done in such a non-preachy manner, and that is why it has that lasting connect I feel......the way he conveys his belief in her capabilities, her talent is just very nicely done.....I know it's hard for people to remember sometimes between all the bossiness and dumbogiri he does otherwise but he has uplifted Imlie at many crucial moments when she has been ready to waste away her life.....and I do think that part can't be dismissed just cuz of the complication they are living right now. Log aate jaate rahenge inki life mein but the part that Adi plays in Imlie's life as the catalyst taking her through each phase of her educational/career waali journey without jataaoing it.....always just saying he wants to walk by her side as she achieves all the glory she is destined for.....that is a lovely thing to watch.

Looks like Adi is completely done with Didi with looks he gave her.... and OMG for one sec I felt like ghost in Adi's room🤣 the creepy way she was sitting there ... Chalo let her be in her world which means nothing to anyone. She comes do her bak bak and people just inore her... kya izzat reh gayee hai... anyways.

Adi is all bechara pati - Roaming around with wifey medicine... I love these small nuisance in Adilie. The grounded touch that their relation has gives its own flavor.

Ts ka toh pyaar umra hua hai Imlie pe. Ek Dum se ghar keebachee wala🤗. Though I am always scared of their palti but as of now looks bit stable.
