They have really failed to give clarity to Imlie's perspective since she has left the house.....ya toh drag kar rahe hain ya random clownish antics dikha rahe hain in the name of token "light scenes".....she is shown either getting randomly hyper bubbly around this ASR and family or she gets extremely angry when he says some crap to her......it gives the sense of a lot of volatility inside her that she hasn't processed so it seems like she's just reacting in very bipolar outbursts. I get that they want to show an offbalance Imlie trying to find her way in her new journey but even then, I don't think that requires this strange disjointedness vis a vis kabhi boss ko bhagwaan maan lo, kabhi use gaaliyaan de do.......ajeeb hi hai and if they think this shows some "instinctual connect", woh bhi isn't coming through. She only felt like the familiar Imlie in her scenes with the Ts yesterday and even if she is aloof with Adi right now, woh phir bhi apni lagti hai rather than this disjointed version to prop up ASR ke scenes.

Chomu RMaa ki toh baat bhi na hi karein😆.....matlab the level of casting is indication enough ki kitna this new family will be "replacement" for Ts in Imlie's life😆

Waise one other random thought that occurred to me was vis a vis the happy face that Imlie is trying to put up that falls from time to time.....as was obvious in the bit when she was walking out of R house and initially had a big smile which faded away bit by bit. She is trying to be strong and trying to find smiles in the moment or trying to look ahead, but truth toh yehi rahega that she won't be happy without Adi.

I also feel that Adi is now quite aware of the fact ki Imlie constantly pareshaan and upset hai.....so I wonder if this will come into play at some point when people again try to claim that Imlie is all happy with the new people toh Adi will be like he knows woh apna dard chhupaane ke liye smile kar rahi hai....wouldn't that be a touching bit? :)

Adi is one of the true blue ITV MLs who actually appreciate & encourage their partners & also respect women in general. They are so rare to come. Only other MLs that come to mind are:

Shivaay (IB)- Though he too had many other typical traits he never ever excused his own bad behaviour because of any reason & never tried to change Anika & adored her the way she was despite of having such strong belief in his philosophy of NKK. IB actually missed an opportunity to show Anika's professional progress because he would have supported her 100%.

Manik (KYY)- This guy had the most readymade reason for being a woman hater as his own mom Nyonica was such a gold digger & manipulative. But he was so respectful of women in general. He had 2 female besties & he was such a gem for Nandini. He also was the one who encouraged Nandini to focus on her music so helped her career wise as well in a way.

No other MLs come to my mind. Sab bas rich ceos with lame dark pasts bhare pade hai😆.

And if he failed to follow them for the complications of his personal life, no matter how frustrating - the truth remains that these have been extraordinary circumstances driven by factors on many levels. Yes, things have now come to the point where they are all brainwashed and guilt-tripped by a shameless Psycho....but that still doesn't take away from Adi's core as a character which is sincere/progressive in his soch. Udhaarwala ASR came to return Imlie's medicine & when tried to question Adi for having an interest in intern's life was promptly dismissed by Imlie with kaam ho gaya toh jao ya uske bhi paise dene padenge😆.

The T fam took care of Imlie while Adi watched from the sidelines. Bhai yeh toh jaanewala tha na🤣? Ghonchu😆. Everyone got the full explanation of why udhaarwala ASR was there & cursed him out for bullying Imlie. Imlie told them he was not that bad which irritated Adi. Phir hua time up & everyone except Adi left the room.

As usual Imlie had to prompt Adi to take his leave & then came the most lol part with Adi telling Imlie that he would give her space with such a sincere fave🤣. Why does he even bother saying things like this? Tumse na ho payega BS😆. He coaxed her into accepting the mobile giving fam ki duhaai & then started on his new mission to give her space by telling her to take a leave from office the next day & that he would inform them😆. But look at Imlie also instead of being angry on him was calmly explaining to him that she can't take leave as it was only her 2nd day at the job😆. Jhalle dono ke dono❤️. Aww @ Imlie praying to SM & asking her how she managed to stay away from Ram ji when she herself is finding it so difficult to stay without her BS. Just wait & watch how they will make Imlie have blind faith in this udhaarwala ASR without any reason just to make some lame parallels to Adi's blind faith in Rapist Didi. They should not have made their interactions of such forced tashanbaazi if they wanted to develop Imlie's trust towards this guy. ST has had an instant natural click with almost any new guy that's entered the story (barring that KC but then woh actor bhi Chomu hi tha).....she's ekdum crackling with Sundar and heck even this recent Pranav guy she did well in facing off with.....but something about this ASR is just becoming more and more stilted by the minute in her need to suddenly act like his naukar simply cuz he gave her the job....that is the part that makes it very unlike Imlie....with every other character, she has stuck to her core principles and agar jhaadna hai toh full conviction se.....with this guy, she's shown flip-flopping for the lamest reasons and that is why it's hard to buy😕. Issue isn't that Imlie can't find a new genuine friend - heck she already has some great friends like Sundar toh obviously no one has any issues with seeing her friendly with another guy.....but kuch dhang ka bond toh dikhaao bhai.....yeh kya lame rotlu raees bakwaas lagaa rakhi hai.....this guy makes even Pari-Imlie bonding look natural😕😆

Adi is completely in his own league as a ML on ITV....iske jaisa na koi pehle tha aur I doubt iske baad bhi shaayad aisa koi aayega😆.....and that's mainly cuz he is so beyond the usual parameters of "heroism" on ITV. You've given the examples of Shivaay and Manik - but both of them got to be larger than life heroes ruling their respective domains even if they had many flaws otherwise......while Adi's case is truly unique cuz he isn't even allowed that regular level of heroism much and yet somehow his core principles and idealism still shine through.....people are so busy fixating on the complications he has trapped himself in that no one even wants to give him the basic benefit of doubt that he does believe in the ideals he talks about - woh bas bolne ko nahin hai. And if he failed to follow them for the complications of his personal life, no matter how frustrating - the truth remains that these have been extraordinary circumstances driven by factors on many levels. Yes, things have now come to the point where they are all brainwashed and guilt-tripped by a shameless Psycho....but that still doesn't take away from Adi's core as a character which is sincere/progressive in his soch. He has never been the type to want to control or compel a woman to do his bidding as most of these so called "hawt businessman" types do on ITV.....heck even the examples you gave here have had their controlling streaks but Adi has never walked that path......and no one gives him that due cuz his cowardice about some things creates for frustrating moments.....lol....so matlab the only choices are total control freaks in the name of so called "hawtness" or to label someone an "abuser" simply cuz they aren't able to stop abuse happening to themselves? lol......yehi oversimplified labels ke wajah se content quality is shit aajkal.

End point is it is all about keeping scores in the relationship for the hype janta. Adi ne aisa kiya toh Imlie ne waisa karna chahiye chahe it doesn't fit Imlie's character as well. It is all about taking badla from Adi.

And yes Adi is in his own league as a ML. He doesn't have that typical ML background for one thing. He is a working professional & his family is also upper middle class. And he has positive principles in his life- be it regarding his professional integrity, truth ka naara or respecting women from all walks of life. He has never demeaned anyone for the heck of it or to get a kick. Aise faltu ke jhamelo main isko padna nahi hai. And he has never been the one who is like my fam is my everything or only my work is my everything. Yes he does love & take pride in his fam & his work but it is never to an extreme. He has that disconnect where he only keeps matlab with his own self rather than being some self sacrificing mahan aatma😆. And he never preaches about his own progressive mindset & doesn't even expect that Imlie should be grateful to him for anything. He infact time & again reminds Imlie of her own worth & calibre & boosts her up when she gets sidetracked from her career goals due to anything. Aisa kaha dekhne milta hai in ITV?

Adi is the most relatable ML in ITV because of his faults & good qualities. He is no superhero but an aam aadmi who is navigating really tough complications & sometimes his bullheadedness ends up being beneficial & sometimes his downfall.
