Trust me, I am the last person to have ANY expectations from him now cuz that’s how nikamma he has been rendered by the writers since a while now 😆….mera toh default hai ki Adi se kuch bhi na expect karo as you watch the story. lol he’s in his own head most of the time and also mostly an escapist. More than lazy, I’d call him an escapist who doesn’t want to deal with uncomfortable situations even when they are of his own making😆.

He’s a good person and does genuinely love and value Imlie so we take his flaws in stride just like Imlie does. But to make for an engaging story, they do need to balance the give and take in a partnership better. Adi has different strengths than Imlie, I get that. He plays the part of boosting her self esteem when she feels weighed down by family and logon ki demeaning. Fair enough. He refuses to give up on their relationship even when she has wanted to many times now…so yes he’s done his part. But I do feel the passivity is too much now.

When Imlie was the one faltering and he used to boost her self esteem, Imlie wasn’t made this passive a character…she still took on many other tasks and managed them. But with Adi, he is being scapegoated in this track for the sake of drag ki just slot everything as “gharelu maamle” that Adi can’t mentally cope with so he will just stand around like a statue waiting for Imlie to manage everything 🤷‍♀️😂….yeh toh is taking it a bit far, no? Even if he can’t be allowed to see M ka truth yet in the story, it’s still a stretch to show him this passive just waiting for directions from Imlie about what to do 😆…..again, I’m not denying that the partnership aspect is still coming through in subtle ways but Adi deserves better as a character than just waiting to see how Imlie manages everything. Lol if this is writers ka way of showing he trusts her more than anyone, then also it’s an oversimplification 😆….it can be written better than this but unfortunately they would rather drag the gimmicks of M ki cheap plotting toh aise hi chalega for now 🤷‍♀️.

He can also do some investigation being investigating patrakar but he leaves all brain in office... and we are watching family drama so it will be nice if writers give him some brain on this front too😆.

Esp.Precap me - Achcha tum batao kya karogee - Man she is your sister... typical Ts ke upbringing... pure nikamme hain sab ke sab😆. I think i was expecting so much from him... aabb slowly my expectation has gone so low that i have made my peace waiting for the day he will bit aggressive. He had good chance in case of Rupi but woh bhi Imlie is doing.

Yes they need to give charm to character and GM being such good actor.

LOL so I don't really want him to be "aggressive" per se either.....the opposite of passive is active na.....so I'd just like to see him be more ACTIVE in some ways even if his general personality is about escapism.

Yes, it does give some background on why Adi is the way he is.....even though he is otherwise more righteous than the rest of them in taking his stand for truth, baseline toh iska bhi wohi hai in terms of conditioning ki emotional abuse sehte raho in the name of "lihaaz" and "sharaafat"....so no wonder all the Ts are like this only.
