Truth is very powerful, just like our powerful Imeliya. The camera finally made an entry in the precap and it looks like Imlie sees what happened to know exactly the levels of depravity shown by Malini that night. Imlie finally can show the world what she has been believing all this time - that her husband was innocent and that he has been taken advantage of without his consent, by someone he refuses to see as his tormentor.
Today we finally got glimpses of our old Adilie connect back. Imlie sings her famous "Powerful Imeliya" song and reminds Adi that he needs to go to office, to which Adi asks if she is purposefully torturing him, or she does not remember that he lost his job yesterday. Then Imlie makes him get up by almost sitting on his feet😆. Anyway, she apologizes for not doing what he asked, but asks him to get back his job with pride, as he is not wrong. She reminds him that she knows he is innocent and he needs to get out of his pity party and stop making himself out as an accuser, when the court also has not accepted that he is guilty. This statement seemed to have many connotations, including Imlie reminding him that he has not done anything which needs him to feel like an accused. While he is a pouty bachcha who lashes out at the very hand that wants to help him, he his not guilty of the crimes he assumes he committed. Adi still in his pity party, agrees to go on the condition that he will drop Imlie to college - the one thing Imlie wanted to avoid. Poor thing agrees, while trying to think of a way to hopefully hide the truth about her suspension from Adi.
Adi drops her to college and asks her to go for her classes. Imlie shows she is going for her class and asks him to go to his office. For a change humare Adi maharaj used his eyes today (brain abhi tak bandh hai, uska khulna itni aasaani se nahi hoga) Adi sees Imlie walking away from his rear view mirror and calls Imlie out. The poor girl tries to make an excuse, but Adi refuses to leave till he sees her go inside. The security guard catches her and stops her from entering the premises, telling Adi that she has been suspended.Adi asks Imlie why she did not tell him, and gets a look from Imlie - enough to make him remember what he told her the previous day. Adi maharaj ke aansoon nikalte hai (BTW abhi bhi soory nahi bola mahashay ne) and he tells her that he understands that she also has lost her most beautiful dream due to this case. He offers to go back home with her and teach her, asking her to give the case up and start afresh - Adi and his ostrichpana will never go away - they are like Imlie and her Sita Maiyya😆. Imlie tells him that she knows she is supporting the truth, so when it gets proven, she knows she will get back everything she lost. She offers to drop Adi to college on his bike. and when he hesitates, asks if he is feeling shy to sit behind a girl (apparently Adi has taught her to drive his bike, which we will have to assume, coz aise khubsoorat scene toh makers hume dikhane se rahe). Adi reminds her that he never had an issue the last time he had to sit behind her, where we then get the beautiful FB of their first bike ride in PD (aww those times seem nostalgic now), but tells her that she does not know the office address, so asks her to sit behind him. We finally get to hear Sajna ho after 2 weeks, where it feels nice to see glimpses of them being them again, even if it is for a few fleeting moments. Adi reaches office and Imlie assures him that he is innocent till proven guilty, so he should confidently go and demand his job back. Adi reminds her that till they do not get solid proof, Malini is also innocent. Imlie then says the best dialogue of the day - kanoon ki devi ka patti kholne se pehle, humein Babusaheb ki aankhon par Malini didi ki patti kholni padegi - foreshadowing that Adi will know the extent of Malini's crimes.
Adi goes to his editor who is trying to place 2 people to manage Adi's work. He tells his editor that the board of directors have no basis to hold him guilty, when the court itself have not done so. He also reminds him that along with him, his connects & informants will leave Bhaskar times with him. He sits in his office reminiscing about how Imlie is helping him fulfill his dreams, but has lost so much because of him, but still he cannot come to terms with her going ahead with the case - dear lord this guy just does not want to take his blinders off - no worries, SM will force it off very soon.
Imlie meets KC and tells him that hearing AC confess that Malini did impersonate her to force Adi that night, gave her the confidence that SM herself does not want to give up. KC agrees to stand by her belief and fight this case, no matter what. AC & MC are assuming that the case will get dismissed as there is no proof and Imlie will get dismissed from her sasural because of this. Dev said that even if she does have to leave the T house, she will come and stay in the C house, as he has declared to the world that Imlie is his daughter. Malini gets wild at hearing this and decides to put forth her shart in front of Imlie that she will have to agree - laying the foundation of the preggers card that will be thrown, mostly even before Malini finds out that Imlie has proof against her.
Imlie goes back home to look for the proof, but does not know where to start. She decides to look for it in the kitchen, where Imlie drops mattar to look for the proof in the kitchen, as Aparna and Radha are in the kitchen and will not allow her to do what she wants - looked extremely fillerish and an attempt to remind us of how they once used to be, which is difficult to now correlate with the current dynamics.
Anyway, the precap has imlie finding the camera and looking away at something she sees there - hinting at the reason she will believe Malini's claims. But they have kept the entire thing very vague and obtuse - enough that I still feel that nothing happened, but Malini did do enough to show that she tried to force herself on Adi, as Imlie realizes that she finally has proof on Adi's innocence & Malini's guilt. Now how this will play out needs to be seen, but today's episode still gave me hope, that the Adilie that we have been missing for so many days are still there - just buried under a lot of other nonsense that we will have to endure to see them again.
