I did not expect to like the bahu contest week at all - but makers are proving me wrong. Under the guise of a cliched track - they are actually showing some pretty good content.

Adi Imlie scene in the beginning where he offers to buy her a wedding outfit was really good. Pallavi's support - wow - I love this girl - I wish they show more of their bonding and in a way its great that Pallavi was not there during Malini's time and therefore has no conflicting interests. I always felt Nidhi bhabhi would side with Malini and Dhruv with Imlie if they had a choice.

The whole point of the episode today was however Aparna Imlie equation and Aparna is starting to slowly remember and piece the puzzle. I loved the way these scenes were done. Her recalling how I gave the sindoor to Malini and also how I took her blessings.

BBSB surety that I will win and also being there for his jhalli to cheer her on was brilliant. The guy who never cared a damn about Malini and missed evn important occasions was present for Imli and that too at his despised 'best bahu' competetion. Need we say any more.

Overall kudos to makers for taking a ghissi pitti track and making it meaningful. Aparently in the original IK - everyone made fun of Baha and it united Archie's family in her support. I think here Imlie may end the contest winning and with the acceptance by T family. Lets see.

Today's episode is nonsensically cute episode. Started with Imlie like a pyaara baccha asking sita mother's saath ; found it funny when Pankaj Tripathi asked his son, to make Imlie stop from going to the competition mooh dikayi ke drama ke bhaad bhi they still have expectations

Pallavi is the best sister in law one can ask for, I miss Nidhi, she would have made a good sister in law too.

Loved chotu sa Adi-Imlie scene. Imlie always amazes him with her thought process, that shaadi ka jodha was once a symbol of their trauma. They have come a long way from there and now it might have mixed emotions attached to it. I would have loved if they had a Adilie scene after she wore the shaadi ka jhoda... but that be too much to expect I guess.

Imlie entry into the competition is seethi maar worthy.. the swag, the confidence .. Aparna was shocked, speech less. She recognized it as the saree Imlie wore to Adi's wedding and came up with a wrong conclusion on why Imlie wore it that day.. Imlie should have said that, it is her who asked her to wear it that day, as they liked the saree. But anyhow, Imlie did mention that, on that fateful day, she wore the shaadi ka jhoda and she gave her haq to Malini but today she wore it to win her haq and their respect and for nothing else. It was too much to process for Aparna, I think she is wondering how Imlie did it that and how she is even now taking her blessing after they said so much to her... Don't worry Aparna, your son went thru the same journey and now it is your turn.. jaise maa vese bete.. kuch bhi asaan tarike se nahi seekthe.

On the first watch, I thought Adi and Nishanth are the only husbands joining the girls party, but there were more, 7 in total. Adi prioritized work over his engagement but now he has time for nonsense Best Bahu Competition... kya se kya ban gaye babusaheb, Imelia ke pyaar mein

The whole cooking scene is over my head, just added additional drama. will skip it for now, may be I will find something on a rewatch.

Tomorrow, I think the other 2 judges will support Imlie and she stays in competition; I so want to see Anu's chop. long due, this shameless lady is only in this marriage to be called as famous painter Dev Chaturvedi's daughter, she doesn't have any self respect just like her daughter.

Avi toh pallu kuch jyada hi sweet hai par........ Track record Imlie mein yeh hai ki jo jyada sugary hota hai woh aage chalkar sabse mean and nasty ban ne wala hota hai. Jis din pallavi insecure feel karegi ki uski place and position in a t house as well as in family members mein kam hoti jaa rahi hai fir v woh negative ban jayegi.

Sablog Imlie ko jyada se jyada support karte hai jab woh society k liye bechari lachari dukhiyari types ki hoti hai . Jab Imlie ki ek achi position banjati hai,fir wohi log ussey jealous feel karte hain aur usko neecha dikhane mein lag jate hain.

I liked the portion where Imlie reminded Aparna, who sacrificed whose husband and for whom. Contrary to what Aparna had chosen to believe and preach. Just hated how she was hell bent on saying crap about Imlie at the mere sight of her. Though we see her mellowing down, there is no justification for her vicious taunts! Nope!

Adi's hopelessness in changing the attitude of his family, guilt when he said he will get Imlie a new bridal saree, and pride when he saw Imlie was being praised by the judges was nicely done in spite the ridiculous bahu competition track!

Man today's episode was booooring. Just see, mere review mein 80% of the content was for less than 30% of the episode, so you can understand.
