Just my guess....she is maybe upset as Imlie and Anu had another face off. Yes it's not Imlie's fault... But the way Anu described it to Malini....

I think Malini does have some feelings for Adi.... there are times when I think she is over him and sometimes I think she is not. Yesterday I kinda felt that KC and Malini are catching some feelings as well. Maybe like Adi she too will realize what she felt for Adi was friendship not love.... she too has never been with anyone but him..... She should be sad and mad but at Adi not Imlie. It's evident Imlie loves her (For Imlie it is Amma, Didi, and Adi). Imlie gave up her rights looking at Malini's happy face during the wedding...Plus she perhaps loved him enough to let him go. After PD Malini has decided to fight for Imlie's rights.... it's not going to be easy for her as well....But taunts and guilt tripping never helped anyone get over anything. If she is angry... the anger should be directed towards Aditya. Same as Anu who shouldn't call Methi a homewreker but her husband, Dev. Dev is the one she married, who promised to love, respect and take care of her.... not Methi... Plus Methi didn't know Dev was married.

The way she ran away from KC office when she got ( miss) information from Apu that Adi is sick and remembered her that is real DD .. otherwise all the time she wears mask of goodness😕 hope Adi at least show her her real place no hope from Imlie😕

In Malini's case, this hasn't happened. Aditya and Malini are still in touch with each other. She knows the reality and has accepted it but that doesn't mean she can switch off her feelings. Feelings will take time to go, meanwhile they can limit their interactions to divorce talks only.

I see her return to T house to check on Aditya as a natural reaction of a lover who still has feelings and especially when she is not the one who broke the relationship. Usually in such cases, best friends are saviours. They stop the person from going back to ex but here Malini doesn't have such person in her life. So, I consider it as a moment of weakness of a lover and nothing else.

That's why falling in love is the only easiest thing about love. Maintaining it and breakups are the hard parts of love.

I agree with your I am confused with her on and off behavior. Taunting and deliberately hurting another one for your pain. That's is the character of Mrs C and look how bitter that person turned out to be. There is no hope for malini adi relationship and it takes time heal . But she can be easily influenced that the most frustrating character. PD gaya , she felt sad about meethi imlie, started fighting with her parents.now she got affected by her toxic mother and she will turn against imlie.

I find it strange to read justifications of how she is finding it hard to get over a relationship she didn't break.....lol ummm Adi informed her that he loved Imlie and was married to her.....technically the decision to break the relationship came from Malini when she said she wanted a divorce, no? 😆.....and now she wants to play the victim that she didn't break the relationship?

If she had the guts, she would have confronted Adi for dragging her into this mess.....but all she's done is twisted guilt tripping and these fake dikhaave of "moving on" when it's clear she is still obsessed with Adi and always will be.

A man is basically telling you he doesn't want you, he's in love with someone else and still you are acting so pathetic that any small excuse to run over to him, you just jump on it. It's a joke to hear her say she's going to see Adi out of a "friend's concern".....lol it's clear that she was getting feelz out of imagining that Adi is calling for her.....even though she's seen plenty of examples of the fact that Adi doesn't love her, that he's fully in love with Imlie like he's never been with her.....still she continues this kind of behavior and keeps playing victim.

Exactly Dev is the sole reason for all these issues . How can she question imlie and meethi for her husband's fault. She said she still with Dev because of malini but I think she stayed to maintain her image in society. If it was for her daughter, she destroyed malini's life by not giving a positive happy home.

About malini, she has a perfect example of a toxic woman in a bitter relationship. She always apologized to all the people in her life because of her mother's behavior. how can she justify her pain after behaving exactly like her mother. She is a college professor for God's sake.

Bold - This is what any self respecting person would have done. No other human being should be above your own self respect, be it a man or a woman.

The issue here is that a normal person in her position would have done one of 2 things - Either confront Aditya for putting her in this mess and punishing him for what he didi, else accept the reality and walk out with having any relationship with either Adi or Imlie. She could have remained in the story without being actively involved with them. I understand her need to get KC as a way to save face. I understand her still having feelings for Adi despite everything. What I do not get is the constant flip flop. Either make a fool of yourself and admit to him that you still have feelings for him and tell him that you still want to be with him and face the consequences of that action, else walk away for sometime to help get over those feelings if you feel that you don't want to end up hurting your sister because you still have feelings for her husband. This trying to be mahaan at one point and desperate at another, all in the same day gets exhausting to watch as a viewer, as we can't hate her, nor pity her, just get annoyed at watching her on screen.

Malini has always wanted to have it both ways.....she wants to make excuses for her mom while also considering herself better than her mom😆......it's a basic complete lack of self-awareness. To put it plainly, she is totally empty-headed as a person.

The fact that she was saying, "OMG I still have feelings for Adi" in her head after KC made her realize that she herself wants to go to Adi.....lol that is proof enough of her "mental capacity". College Professors would die of shame seeing such a person representing their profession.

She lies endlessly, does twisted things to act superior to others and then tries to act like the biggest victim in the world when she doesn't get what she wants. Not sure on what planet we are supposed to sympathize with such a person🤔.

Like they say, good education cannot always guarantee a good personality. Her being a college professor does not change the basic toxic characteristics she has received from both her parents. She has got the qualities of being a coward and not being able to face the truth from her father and her classist and entitled attitude from her mother. That is why she is worse than her mother. Her mother has always been clear in her stance of being in a relationship with Dev just to maintain the facade of a marriage in front of the world including her daughter. She has never tried to be mahaan or forgiven her husband for what he did to her. Here Malini wants to look like the bigger person by showing that she has accepted everything and is happy to accept Imlie as her sister, but in actuality is still pining for her ex, who is that same sister's husband, who loves his wife and just wants to be friends with Malini and has never given her any reason to think her pining for him will be ever reciprocated in any way.

So her justification that she is different than her mother is just in her head. In reality she is much worse.

How many times Aadi has clearly conveyed HE DOES NOT LOVE MALINI, whether it’s letting her go without a word after sindoor drama, or conveniently accepting her KC lie, literally saying ’aap hamri patni nahi hai’, agreeing for divorce in seconds (also indirect indications of him prioritising anything and everything over Malini before Imlie) what more is needed to understand that this man does not want me. what person with even a tiny little self respect would go after a man who made it absolutely clear that he does not love you.
After all of this this woman gets excited thinking he could have called her. I toh feel she knows she has feelings but needed KC’s pointing out to admit, so that she can stay mahan in her own eyes like ‘ohh really I still have feelings, mujhe toh pata hi nahi tha’😑

If writers are doing it deliberately I don’t know what they are getting out of it for story and show, but M character has reached beyond pathetic.
