Wordd....I LOVED the fire in his eyes today. Kudos to GM for doing this very differently from the last time that Adi confronted AC in his need to protect Imlie....that was an Adi utterly unraveled, not knowing the scope of his emotions for Imlie but just expressing them in a VISCERAL manner.
Today's Adi was different in confronting AC....the fire simmering in his eyes was very different from the one we witnessed last time....powerful in a different way today because the Adi now warning AC off is one who owns what Imlie means to him in every way.....and that is why he didn't even need an outburst to convey the threat.....a low, deceptively soft tone somehow made it all the more powerful in conveying his threat to AC to back off from Imlie. I personally loved the new shade. What is the fun in watching rinse repeat it is the new variations that makes the viewing experience worthwhile warna toh humein pata hi tha ke ek din he will confront.. this is what makes the job interesting to actors too warna situations situations more and less same hi hoti hai rozz.. it was IMPACTFUL sach main dara dene wala and once again I felt being in room wala feel
AC clearly isn't getting that the threat levels have increased😆....she brushed Adi off and still tried to sidestep him to talk to Imlie.....I feel like Adi was doing the lihaaz of others there but if AC keeps pushing her luck, next time the tone ain't going to be soft😆. Did you see the look in his eyes when AC was calling Imlie "manhoos"? 😆.....volcano phatne ke chances hain phir se😆 yes he was on the edge badi mushkil se he was controlling himself given the place and situation and giving her benefit of being in shock but zyada time yeh lihaaz rahega nahi from him.. AC is taking it as casual chinta she doesn't know jo aadmi zameen main ghadh sakta hai woh iska kya bharta banayega if she fiddles too much with his dukhti rag.
And then for Adi-Imlie, as you said....that sense of unit came through so well in this scene too....there was a haq in the way he stepped forward to shield her and a haq in the way she accepted him being her shield too....she never asks for him to come shield her but you can sense that subconsciously that is their bond since they have protected each other through so many dire circumstances....toh when he steps up for her like this, it assures her on another level even if she doesn't admit it.
And that doesn't means she's dependent on him to protect her....but it's that saath waala assurance she does crave from him. Baaki toh woh sabko khud niptaane ki aadi hai😆exactly woh khud hi sab akele karne ki aaaddi hai and kar bhi legi but the saath definitely feels nice ke woh jo aapka sabse apna hai aapke liye stand le what is best is she doesn't even have the expectation consciously as you pointed out too she was ready ke ab phir haath uthayegi and yeh sehne ko bhi tayaar thi again for her family but enough was enough so they all had to step in their own ways to protect the girl they owe so much too and also caz for others it was guilty conscious taking over from last time too so they tried to make up while for adi it was his anger the fire of not living upto the promise and let her suffer so badly making him extra rash in his emotion but composed in his outer layer.. the ghussa was scary it did what it meant to do... it was the kind that gives you shivers and you do not need anymore and the message gets delivered. Everyone in the room felt the rage and went silent . Nobody tried to push another button because they knew he would explode and how.. that simmering emotion was done so well and which is why imlie too did not let a word escape in protest any other day she would have protested too but she knew not today..
