Why Malini fails to be a sympathetic character - Page 5

Aditya should be shown as remorseful , not for loving imile, but for hurting, rejecting and making a mockery of malinis life.

He suddenly want to continue his relationship with imile, he want to fulfill his responsibilities towards imile, in his lala land he is forgetting that , he is literally tearing apart Malins life.In the entire truth reveling scene it would have been better if he showed some remorse, some shame , in admitting to the woman he loved and married willingly that their relationship has ended , he is moving on to another whom he deems perfect.

In that scene his priority was to just say the truth and make her accept his decision .He knows how emotionally fragile malini is .He has the audacity to say to her that he knows that she is feeling bad, she is not feeling bad but literally dyeing. For me worst dialogue was him pointing out to her that she isn't his legally wedded wife, only a second wife with no recognition.Did he pause to think who made her a second wife to him?? As malini asked he married her consciously right??if aditya have shown a bit of concern for malini it would have been good .it would make him more likeable.

And malini should not think on the line of imiles sindoor so soon , her concern should be how he deceived her into marrying him withholding the truth, how he made her a second wife ,how utterly callous and shallow he is how to people she trusted played with her emotions.

Today’s episode was heart breaking… How shamelessly makers are showing Adi’s character and Ohh My GOD! Mun ke sath itne injustice… sheahhh! Really feeling bad for Malini’s Fate. She Dont deserve this.

and I 10000% felt that part when she said “Mom humesha kehti thi Aap par nazar rakhne ko” something like that..

Aditya should pay for all his Sins.

In real life, Aditya would be booked as a fraud for cheating Malini, including the village that forced married Aditya at gunpoint. So, let's not jump guns on a wife who recently discovered her husband with another man. In her her, she is legally wedded wife.

Infidelity and its repercussions are scarring for life. So, pardon me, but many people think suicide and then try everything on earth to keep the marriage intact.

I had started watching Imli in the hope of some fantastic story but left the day Aditya married Malini. The problem is the man who betrayed both the woman whom he claimed to love at different points of time.

I pity Aditya and Imli and Malini. I am sick of women being treated like trash bins

and do yo think whatever rubbish Malini was saying about his character....that was ok? Aap agar 7 yrs kisi ko apna best friend bolte ho and then he is sharing his truth with you then you don’t jump on him like this...at least hear him out first and then react.....situation ko samajhna bhi to jaroori hai.....

yes Malini ke saath injustice hua and Adi was admitting that too ke Malini ke saath ye sab nhi hona chahiye tha but kya karein....jab ab dil nhi allow kar rha relationship mein rehne ko Malini ke saath to kya karein....

Agree that writers ko thoda aur remorseful show karna chahiye tha adi ko... but still you can’t blame one partner to be the reason for any broken relationship.....

She is irritating for sure and i do feel bad for her. She is one suffering due to lusty couple. I felt mad when she did suicide for that BS who doesn't even have an ounce of respect for her. That losers will be most happy if she dies. They won't even wait for few days to get in bed after her death. She should atleast think about her mother, the only person who loves her.

Aditya told truth but his way was "ohh you are wrong Malini you are 2nd wife(no not exactly) you are not my wife, Imlie is my legally wedded wife." Zero remorse or guilt. Wow. He married her after he married Imlie and Malini is not understanding. Malini lashed out to him and I liked that. And whatever she said was true. 7 year ka relationship agar ab Adi ke lie koi mayne nai rakhta to Malini kyun lihaaz rkhe. Yes imli ko bash karna galat hai but Adi deserves every bit of it. In fact he deserves more.

I am married for six years and if my husband does it I will also react same way as Malini (even more violently)

And in his own dialogues he is showing inconsistencies like first he says you are not my wife imlie is my wife for later while telling story he says wahan humari gairakaanuni tarike se shadi kara di gaon walo ne

anyways long story short Malini can very well take Adi to jail under section 420 marrying her without telling her abt his first wife

There is a basic flaw in the premise of claiming Aditya as a cheat. We must understand:

1) When Aditya married Malini, he did not cheat her. He had no feelings for Imlie nor was he unfaithful. Since the first marriage did not mean anything to him then, he didn't pursue the matter at the cost of Malini's health.

He realised his feelings for Imlie during the PD track. Lets look at his behavior after that:

1) He clearly distanced himself from Malini. He did not pretend to be Malini's loving husband and mislead her while thinking about the other woman (Case in point : Shyam from Iss Pyaar Ko. He was at his sweetest best with his wife while lusting after Khushi, fooling her royally)

2) Malini was on a 4 day starvation spree before he came back from PD. So he waited for her to be a little stable.

3) He did not cross his boundaries with Imlie. They did not hug, kiss, make love. In fact, they did not romance either. Most of their discussion was regarding the presentation of the truth.

4) The day it reaches a breaking point and he decides to come out clean, Malini commits suicide. When he tries to tell the truth in the hospital, Malini's condition worsens.

4) There was constant familial pressure that did not allow any privacy. They needed to sort things out without Cs and Ts constantly messing with their private lives.

5) He needed confirmation from Imlie first before coming out clean to Malini. This is the only place where Aditya has gone wrong. But revealing the truth might have severe repercussions on Imlie. Her stay in Delhi, studying in Malini's college, her career can all get jeopardized. So Imlie needed to give her consent for the consequences.

I think they have handled the issue in a dignified manner till now. Lets see what happens later

Irrespective of his feelings he is supposed to come clean to malini her fam nd his fam....its not a joke. This is serious matter? His feelings...he dint feel nythin for imlie so its fine to keep malini in d dark marry her nd keep imlie as a maid in his house??? Dude needs to go to jail for cheating... i hope malini files a case against him. D world doesnt revolve around his passions nd feeling mayb dis serial does....der r other people nd dey too hav feelings. In a real world scenario if a wife finds her husband is married to d house maid under watever circumstances, lets say he doesnt love d maid too, it will still be considered a serious breach of trust and might lead to legal repercussions.

I don't know we can discuss here about other serials or not but in a very famous serial first wife of ML chose his boss and ditched her husband than after some years he got married to FL his neighbour.

But the first wife was shown as character less and here ADI is lead

Why malini is not a sympathetic character? Because people are too infatuated by Adilie. Simple as that.
