She has committed suicide for attention seeking purposes, the scene and her dialogue spells it out for us. If it was moment of weakness she wouldn't have dressed up like a bride and took the time put bridal make up on, that's a very calculative and manipulative step she took. She knew what she was doing and it was badla against Adi.

She herself admitted that she wanted him to wait, probably forever if Imlie and her family didn't get there in time.

When the lady herself is admitting it very clearly she did it for a guy and that to make him wait, I don't understand how you're ignoring that.

Also she has her career, her mum, dad and grandma, Adi's family, friends etc. Killing yourself over a man is not a good thing to show, it glorifies suicide.

There's more to a life than a man. What example is she showing to her students and to viewers😕

As someone who knows suicide intimately, the best thing to show viewers is not to glorify and blame it all on Adi.

You get her the help she needs and show her there's life beyond a man and not justify it by bringing her back to the house, if her parents truly cared they would never let her step into that house or live with that man.

It's very clear the show is glorifying suicide, she stepped back into the house which she left of her own accord, but because Adi didn't bring her back, she had to think of a drastic way to come back because in her mind she thinks this kind of manipulation is okay and gets her what she wants.

Thank god Adi had resisted to give this marriage another chance even though he was forced to bring her back to his house.

This is when I lost all respect and sympathy for her.

The writing doesn't support that she was vulnerable or had no meaning in life, it supports that she planned it out to gain attention one way or another of just one man when she multitude of reasons to still live, planned a whole show and then shamelessly stepped back into the house and arms of the man that apparently 'pushed her into this suicide'. Who does that? Someone who wanted only her husbands attention and whom didn't care about anyone else, be it their mum or dad or career.

This story is abt 3 ppl. So, if one goes away, then there is no meaning to serial. And in india, we ladies, tries best carry marriages. Most of them.bounded to marriage institution. I can bet 50% of population just being husband n wife without love. Her mother accepted love less marriage. Malini would take time. As per current personality, Malini will unite adi imlie if she comes to know the story. This is what I am curious abt, what makers will turn Malini. Till now they hv shown her very graceful. Hope they keep her character that way.

Why does one have to go away, Adi doesn't own the city. The city is large enough for the 2 of them never to meet again. I know women try to carry the marriage (I'm from a somewhat traditional family) but why is it only the woman who has to carry it. This is the kind of thought pattern we need to question.

It's one thing to settle for a marriage without love and a whole other thing when your partner loves someone else.

What gives you the right to force yourself on him, even in India now, people get divorced.

Why should the woman make her life insufferable and miserable to try to gain a man that will never love her back, what will she gain from such a marriage but sadness, heartache and resentment.

Why not leave him behind and look after your well being instead?

Women need to stop sacrificing themselves and their happiness just to stay in a relationship like Adini? There's more to life than a man.

Just look at Anu and Dev. Who wants that for themselves? All I see is them bound in a relationship of resentment and hatred and it unfortunately had an effect on Malini, that's one of the reasons she very mentally vulnerable.

No-one is happy!

Not even their child nor their in-laws because it affects everyone negatively.

I am sorry if that's her thought process then it's truly very shallow. Seriously, average looking girl? After praising that girl to heights after calling behen behen. Mentally weak she is for sure, but feeling her living has no meaning?

By your statement, it feels that she attempted suicide due to low self esteem more than sadness.

With all due respect, I have seen people who attempted suicide or are in depression, and Malini's saga doesn't hold a candle against a real pain. My sane mind refuse to associate Malini with them, who are real victim of emotional pain or trauma.

Her stint seemed deliberate, there was no follow-up, she still went back with Aditya to his home, and that Boyfriend story was blah!

She reminded me of spoiled kids, who indulge in self harm if their demands or wishes aren't met.

The story is about 3 ppl indeed and she will stay connected with Imlie, as she is central character, but I sincerely hope for our and the character's sake, there is no involvement of Malini in Adilie's relationship.

She doesn't need to unite them! Whatever they wish to do with character, but right now it's just killing the Essence of show, and I am not saying because I like Aditya or Imlie's character. The show has became super dull.

Once again her entitlement in Today's episode and they way she has no lihaaz and Sharam Retiriates why she deserves no sympathy no pity Nothing.. She has alwasy been a vile woman and will remain one.. The tags she and Her Mom gives imlie are actually Fot for them and that is Karmic JUSTICE..

If Malini knew Imlie is Aditya wife she would not have bashed her so she's not at fault and to some point not even her mother. What was Malini supposed to do, ask Adi whether Imli is her gf or wife? It's Aditya's fault and no one else's. So he is the one who should not get any sympathy but bashing.

There is no point in judging Malini and whoever does not like Malini be rest assured that her character will stay and she will have new relationship and a kid if they follow the original show Ishti kutum

No worries it is better to move out of a husband like aditya and imlie looks hypocrit to me one side she is like Malini di ki khushi is above all but she thinks it is her ehsaan and Malini s marraige is her sacrifice double standards is something I do not like

But she will again create problem in Malini s life in her new relationship so wait for her to create more problem

I don't understand what you guys want from Adi

What do you want him to do if Malini can't take the truth, go against the doctors warning and send her straight to next janam😲

Adi tells the truth, you're all after him for 'sending her to the hospital' and then Adi covers up the truth with the worst lie/excuse I've ever heard and now you're all after him for not telling the truth

As viewers, we know how out of character that excuse was, Adi wouldn't know a prank if it slapped him in the face and Malini actually falls for it after knowing him 7 years.

When has she ever seen him make a joke like this, forget that, when has she seen him even make a joke.

It's her fault for not questioning it but that's also very human of her, if we don't want to believe something, we will believe the alternative regardless of how illogical and ridiculous it seems.

You can act blind for only so long.

What is this shaadi bachana business, how do you save a relationship when only one participant wants it. Doesn't the others consent matter? What is there to save?

Adi married her earlier on because he thought himself to be in love and now he knows better. He has made a mistake and yes he deserves some nasty karma for screwing over someone's life, more than one persons life tbh.

Arre, Dadda is about to pitao him and we're all happy/excited for a reason, he deserves it.

What he doesn't deserve is to be forced in a relationship he doesn't consent to anymore. There's nothing to save if both people don't want to save it.

You need the consent of both people involved.

As we say, you can't fix the cracks in a broken mirror no matter how hard you try. Once broken, it will never be the same as a new one and will always have the tiniest of cracks.

No-one but you is saying that it's all her fault this happened to her but what is she gaining by latching on him and doing all this? Nothing but pain.

Please don't spoil it, some of us viewers haven't watched Ishti Kutum or read anything about it for a reason.

I think it's pretty unwarranted and not cool to spoil it for everyone else.
