Finally a push back on the guilt trips - Page 10

One last thought before I call it a day :)

Adi - never addressed Malini as his wife today...he did not for example say to the dr - my wife needs medical attention. When Imlie was hurt and even otherwise - he threw that proprietal relationship word around much and I was wondering if he would use it for MAlini today and he did not. :) I hope the makers don't make him say it tomorrow :)

Watched today's epi after reading your reviews & thank god that I did or else would have missed the Adi-Imlie content that we got which was missing since the past few days😊.

Adi & Imlie are both drowning in guilt regarding Dementor Didi. Imlie because she felt that Dementor Didi must have been in immense pain & hurt that she took this extreme step. Hence blaming herself. Adi because he knows he should have told the truth to Dementor Didi a long time ago & it was his mistake to marry her without revealing the truth. If he would have revealed the truth earlier itself then Dementor Didi would not have taken such a drastic step.

Adi-Imlie's connect to each other however came through in their shared guilt & pain over Dementor Didi. Imlie stopping at one frantic shout of her name from him, realising it must be regarding Didi & making haste to reach & save her in anyway that she can. Adi worrying over Imlie donating her blood. Notice that he was the one who was closest to the door when Imlie was being led out after donating the blood. Otherwise he has stayed back the whole time in one corner. Him immediately asking the nurse where she was taking Imlie. Thank God Rupi Di was there to be with Imlie or I think Adi himself might have tried to be with Imlie.

Adi just felt relieved when doctor told everyone that Dementor Didi is out of danger & they can meet her but he did not rush inside to be with her. He just quietly took a moment to feel the relief & then blame himself for her condition & how he was not worth anybody losing their life over him. He did not feel any need to go rushing to Dementor Didi's side on his own. Rupi Di thankfully told him to not take the burden of guilt for Dementor Didi's suicide attempt & told him that she anyways has the entire family with her for support but right now Imlie too needs support. She nudged him to take care of Imlie by giving her juice & he immediately stood up to go to Imlie's side. Unfortunately, Didi ka chamcha Nishant came over to take him to Dementor Didi. Adi looked over at Imlie, Imlie looked back & they passed strength to each other in that single moment to face the issues. The sad instrumental playing in bg also helped to elevate the moment.

The Adi-Imlie moments were scarce but after the drought that we have faced since past few days it gave the feeling of drenching in the first rain drops after sweltering heat.

But with Malini attempting suicide - how can he presume now that she will be able to handle the truth at this time? Would'nt a normal reaction be to supress everything unpleasant till she recovers her strength for her sake? Would he want to risk a repeat attempt or get guilted out more for bringing this up at a sensitive time? Don't get me wrong. Nothing I want for more than for Adi to spill the beans...just was not where I thought he would go based on all the guilt tripping and finger pointing already he has been subject to.

So the whole issue is that she does not know the truth. The truth which is the be all and end all in this triangle. Keeping the truth from her for this long is what led to the current situation. Her weakness is just a side effect. The sooner the truth is out, everyone will be better placed to make the sensible decisions required to sort the mess out. The finger pointing will anyway not completely stop. Considering he actually ended up getting married a second time. But that should not be a deterrent in getting the truth out, especially considering he is in love with Imlie.

I get where you are coming from but that would've been odd for him to go check esp caz they still don't have a label for their rishta and time bhi kahan mila as soon as imlie came out they were told malini is ok toh go.. . They have always maintained the only female seniors get one to one as imlie being their help the senior males never get involved wih ek maryada raknt3 hain hamesha not to make it awkward

I wonder if that is why Aditya cannot connect with his family either. The only people Aditya has shown connection/respect are Imlie and Satyakaam. Mithi to some extent. But others, he is nibhaoing the relationship but he does not connect with anyone else. He is suppose to love his parents, aunt uncle, siblings but does he really deep down respect them or look up to them?

the girl has lived Upto the title of being called Di.. and went even beyond that:))

wasie did they clarify ever in the show if aditya is older or her... she calls him bhai but to all of them idon't know if it is cause of age or just respect.. regardless i would want to see her mummy bear Vibes extending to adi too🤣

For Rupi di,to call them bhai it's a respect irrespective of age.
