@bold - word. And it is brilliant to see how a lot of it was a facade with Aditya too. The khoklapan got peeled out layer by layer once he came in contact with Imlie. Not that he does not care/ love his family like how you said. Just that there was absolutely no desire to go the extra mile.

Since you mentioned layers unpeeling....this is again making me think that we as the audience can see that the REAL Adi is being revealed now but to his family, to Malini, it will obviously just seem like he changed completely from the person they knew.....and the finger will be pointed at Imlie I fear.....that she changed him somehow. When the truth is that she revealed what had always been his true self, but he had suppressed it successfully for so long.

Ilzaam toh Imlie pe hi lagega....but will Adi step up to clarify that this is really him and not some person changed into a stranger to his family cuz of Imlie?

Cuz AC etc. types toh yehi blame sabse pehle lagaayenge that Imlie changed him. I guess it depends on where Adi is in his own realization at that point that Imlie has helped him realize what he truly wants in life and what his true self is.

LOL on belagaam ghoda....The way its going, he is going down a list of big words ki something works like haq, zaroorat, aadat, marzi but nothing is so far........ bas usse abhi haat jodna hi baki reh gaya hain...or else blackmail karna ki mein SK ko sab bata dunga. life ki to isse kuch padi nahi hain, Imlie is more worried about it than him so that might work 🤣

So true because even after the way he left, he has no desire to call them or ask about them. The same goes for them. When Imlie called, each and every member went round the table to talk to her. Similarly when Aditya called, he did not ask for anybody but Malini and no one was came forward to talk to him as if thats the norm. I think, that wall has come from his side rather than theirs and they are conditioned to his this behavior. So they do not find it odd. I guess that's why they are so in awe of Malini because they think that she has done the impossible, of making Aditya fall in love with her. Also, hence the constant references that she is the best girl for him as she has managed to find her place in the heart of the stiff, not very emotional Aditya. Haa, only if they knew 😆

Hence, his this other roop that has come out due to Imlie would be very surprising to his family members...may be he was that way in bachpan and they might be able to connect or a total shock, that is this the real Aditya or a changed one. 😉

@bold - I think he will. Only because he was the exact opposite previously. He will wholeheartedly support her until realization dawns and once he knows he loves her I do not think anything or anyone will matter.

Agar Aditya itna saara palti maarke phir se flip karega toh they are showing that there was no point to this turning point of a trip to PD. That episode where he walks out on the family was very significant in terms of his behavior. He said he would return a changed man and he will return a changed man. Change toh ho hi raha tha but now he will also make it apparent to everyone else. He will begin expressing his real self to everyone - which is what in a sense the jaunt to PD has been all about.

Malini and AC do not need a reason to not blame Imlie. They will latch on to her because their minds are already set. Jo banda Malini ke I Love You return nahin kar paa raha hai, I do not think Malini will reveal her real self so soon to this man either with her Imlie doubts; especially if she sees how protective he is of her. She has already seen it once with the bridge incident and once they return that protective instinct will only have amplified to a greater extent; more naked to the human eye. Lol! Yes, he has completely forgotten that they exist. Even when he tells himself he has to return, he makes no mention that he needs to do it because his family is waiting for him. Why is he like this - in one episode prior to Nishant’s entry, BKaaki tells Aparna “you always blamed Aditya even for Nishant’s faults” - maybe this was one reason. Aditya probably saw that he was getting the long end of the stick even for someone else’s mistakes so he probably felt he did not need to do more than what was perceived to be right. Distance maintain kiya toh chot bhi nahin lagegi and all that.

@not very emotional - ek din bande ne Malini pe chhid ke itna dhakka de diya ki woh ghar chhod ke chali gayi and his folks are already terrified of what the future holds. When Imlie starts pushing him away, saara bhadaas toh niklega family pe hi. There is going to be no peace for anyone in the house. Imlie is going to be the kavach they will have to embrace. Malini toh kuch kar nahin paayegi.

I am completely off-post here but I have a curious question- what are these exams that Imlie is giving after studying the Pegasorus theorem and not the chintu pintu theorems?!

Also is there any post or caps for Imlie's WTH/WT* / SAY WHAT expressions! Gosh I am watching all episodes very randomly and I cannot but notice Sumbul is so good at those! For example the episode where BBS says " are you cheating", to the very recent one when Parkash says he will dance with her and she goes Hainn?!

I do not like the Nishant new entry - but the Prakash scenes with Imli have been pretty decent so far. That scene between Imlie and Prakash befor the Adi Imlie dance was quite effective. Imlie's expressions were too good. The'what' and also the way she say ...bcos you cant dance.

The icing on the cake was the look between the 2 but the whole setup leading to that scene and Adi's very subtle acting was brilliant. They also showed when dancing with Prakash Imlie was leading still but with Adi they were equally matching and dancing same steps to the tune.

Someone asked a question about the restaurant...I feel somehow that its for Dev entry - lets see - otherwise its a bit random to put in.

Areyaar - when you get a chance would you be interested in writing a thread from Imlie's point of view the story to date? I start thinking about what has transpired from her pov - its hard for me to understand it fully. Till aDi wedding - I could understand her staying at Adi's ...after that I cannot see what her basis for wanting to stay with T's was. She is quite strong emotionally and far thinking...what made her settle for status quo with no plans for future...until Adi actually took matter in to his hands and kind of pre-empted her decision to leave. Why did she not leave earlier when Malini entered? I have some thoughts - but I thought it ill be good to see what everyone thoughts are. Meethi attributing all of Imlie's problems to NN is what got me thinking. Also Imli did say in one episode that NN actually shows her affection in a negative manner - never saw any sign of this - unless gettign Imli married to Adi was her idea of doing Imli a favor.
