The theme of today's episode was Logic v/s Faith......
We find Adi-Imlie at the mandir site guarding her precious diya while Babusahib grumbles about machhars etc.😆.....Imlie asks him to leave but he refuses, grumbling instead about how she'd rather prefer to play gitte with Prakash than have him stay with her😆....waah waah such subtly inserted jealous lines, Babusahib😆......there was so much quick back and forth going on b/w Adi-Imlie in the early half of that scene.....lol at one point he even told her ki hum yahaan TUMHARA khayaal rakhne aaye hain, diye ka nahin....and Imlie instead of pausing on that line, instantly retorted ki hum toh sirf diye ka khayaal rakhne aaye hain😆. So many slip-ups happening from Adi but Imlie doesn't get it😆.....
Not that I minded....the scene from that point transitioned into a larger discussion on logic and faith.....Adi questioned Imlie's logic for thinking that doing all these mannats will give him some kind of protection from any problems....he asks her she's always praying to her Sita Maiyya, then how did she get shot? 😆.....to which Imlie replies that you can't apply logic to everything......some things are beyond logic.....lol and then she gives the example of him calling her his wife in front of everyone...which "logically" would imply he's expressing a haq over her and she should also demand a haq in return from him then😆....but that's not the case is it? Babusahib had no response😆
And then she tells him that she runs on Faith....but then she muses again about how faith alone can't manage everything....even there a woman must make that extra effort....doing things like guarding a mannat ka diya all night to get the reward of her faith😆.
Adi babu ki self reflections were back today😆....wondering why his logic fails in front of Imlie😆....."humein Imlie ki baaton se itna farak kyun padta hai"? Oh FARAK is back again today, nice😆.....then he asks her again why this rishta matters to her so much when he's told her a bunch of times that he can't give her anything.....oh we're back to this again, Babusahib? Last few days ka amnesia ho gaya?😆.....maybe ask YOURSELF why this rishta is suddenly mattering to you so much? Imlie toh consistent hai is point pe....aap hi palte😆.....but she left it again at how she doesn't want anything but his happiness and his safety.....and that he stay happy with his family and Malini....Malini ke naam pe Adi ka haath jal gaya diye se😆.....symbolism alert again.....lol
I guess that alter-ego realization really didn't stick much😆.....when Imlie left to go fetch water, Adi was again musing to himself ki "Kuch bhi toh nahin badla"🤣....Filhaal hum Imlie ke saath hain, isliye uske baare mein soch rahe hain".....SURE SURE, Babusahib.....let's conveniently forget aap KAISE pahunche Imlie ke paas😆.....sad attempt at denial today, Babusahib...tch tch...."humaare mann mein jo pehle din Imlie ke liye feeling thi, abhi bhi wohi honi chahiye".....All the best, Babusahib.....keep trying😆
Two seconds of denial and then Babusahib rushes to protect the flame of Imlie's diya😆....Imlie asks him to throw it away cuz it's hurting him....there's no logic to holding on to something that's hurting you.....aha metaphor alert😆....and Babusahib very calmly flips her own gyaan back on her and says, "Kuch cheezin logic par nahin vishwaas pe chalti hain"😆....."Tum apna vishwaas humaare bharose chhod ke gayi thi.....agar tum chahti ho ki yeh na bujhe toh hum bhi ise bujhne nahin denge".....and that's the sum of it....he will bear any pain but he won't let go of this rishta.....Imlie even questioned him that it's MY faith, MY rishta....why are you holding on to it if it's causing you so much pain.....but he just can't let go😆
Imlie finally managed to find another diya toh put the flame in😆....and then tried to put geeli mitti on Adi's burnt hands but he resisted initially ki septic ho jaayega😆....to which Imlie replies ki aapko achha lagega😆.....pause for symbolism alert again.....Adi ke haath jalenge is rishte ko sambhaalne mein but the ointment for that is also Imlie.....the way she locked her hand over his to spread the mitti onto the burn to soothe him....lovely shot......and then ofcourse when she asked him again to go back home since he's done enough for her, Adi still keeps holding on to her hand even as she tries to get up😆. Ab koi Babusahib ko puchhe ki ismein bhi kya logic tha? 😆.....but he won't have a response as usual😆
ROFL@ Babusahib thinking in the end ki jaana toh hai hi, humaare paas yahaan rehne ki koi wajah hi nahin hai🤣.....bhai AANE ki bhi kya wajah thi, woh samajh paaye abhi tak kya tum? 😆
Kinda got the sense that they rebooted some of the themes of the week in terms of Adi's denial but overall these were still lovely scenes :)
Malini-wise....kya bolun😆.....she's getting more hysterical over every perceived thing as a symbol of her relationship burning down....and she is falling apart thinking she can still fix it.....Adi's gonna come back to some fun things to deal with....phir pata chalega ki kya badla hai😆
Precap mein Adi Maharaj ne ab bol diya hai ki Imlie ke saath rehna unki marzi, aadat aur zaroorat hai😆....iska "logic" hum jab aayega tab samjhenge😆
At the current pace, we will definitely be in PD all of next week at a minimum😆.....mainly cuz even though Adi-Imlie are in PD, we still get so much Delhi related drama stuffed into every epi😆
