@bold: Yes, I really liked that bit too.....it was long overdue after the torture of the last few epis....finally someone pointing out that Imlie's words and actions are not matching.....also, there was an intensity, a palpable quality to the way he said as you also pointed out.....ki if this is really all she wants, why is she running around doing secret vrat and all?
Pent up is the word....dono taraf se jaise emotions bubbled over in this scene....especially the "Aap humein KAAHE bachaaye, na chahte huye Dilli waapis kyun lekar aaye, jungle mein marne ke liye chhod kaahe nahin aaye"....Imlie started that line of questioning first and he looked hurt when he first heard her say it, that is why he burst out with his own "Haan chhod dena chahiye tha wahin.."....and then followed up with, "Tum achhi tarhaan jaanti ho ki hum apni zimmedaari nibhaa rahe the"😆....to which Imlie counters, "Hum bhi apni zimmedaari hi nibha rahe hain patni hone ki"😆.
Actually the more I'm talking about this scene, the more the nuances are becoming apparent😆....this convo was about so much more than Adi's anger with her over creating the sindoor tamasha....both of them were kinda twisted up inside yet again over this relationship b/w them that they both can't get free of.....it's like that one moment where Imlie was like, "Why did you save me"?...she was kind of asking it like him doing that ensured that their connection lives on....or it could all have ended that very day in the jungle if he had just let her be....but he didn't let that happen....and now he can't question her for trying to do her part for this relationship either😆
Exactly this is a scene that demands more than one to understand the actual thing it was trying to convey.. i really enjoyed it so much more on 2nd viewing too caz it makes their helplessness so painful to watch and one can see their own individual struggle with it... also the bit where he's like yeah you don't do anything wrong ever but phir bhi hamesha ho hi jaata hai ajeeb coincidence it is almost like she wanted everyone to see the sindoor and raise questions and her explaining that i don't need to show that off caz my sita maiya knows and how that takes them to hum bhi apni zimmedari hi nibha rahe thay .. the tone matters. It was again the earnesty and the emphasis on it that made it beautiful beautiful that if saving my life was your responsibility then this is mine and am not trying to deliberately cause trouble and he did seem to believe that
i felt so bad for them in that bit that marr hi jaate toh acha hota they both could've been freed from this torture but abhi kahani baaki hai and they will learn in due time that why they didn't die and why kismat wants them to go through this all:)) that it is actually meant to be like that only..
yes the main struggle was once again about where they stand ratehr than sindoor that was a coverup and hopefully now that new phase will finally start caz ab thoda aur clear huye hai POV's and expecatations.. dekhte hain..
