Kaun sa crack ?? This is normal husband wife fight it seems. It happens between all couples. After 30 years of marriage my parents fight often ,doesn't mean they're incompatible. In fact , can not think of a pair more compatible.
Of course such a fight didn't happen between them when they were not married to each other because well , how could these kind of fight happen between a dating pair ?? It can only happen between husband and wife and for that they needed to get married. Actually, instead of pushing a couple apart these fights bring them closer. Because as you've right to point out till then it was all in the superficial level , with none of them venturing out to the terra incognita and really chalking out a clear view of their lives together. But it's alright ,because most pairs don't. What about pairs in arranged marriage?? They don't even know much about each other, other than basic details when they get hitched and yet they explore their partners and make the marriage work by mapping out the relationship . This process has started between Adini. They'll kiss or make up. With or without Imlie's muft ke gyan. Bas Imlie khali peeli phokat mein thodi credit le jayegi 😆
Aditya's frustration over their class differences was always there ,even on the day of their marriage he lashed out when he found out that instead of Goa Mrs. C is planning to send them to Switzerland and Malini has accepted the offer without once thinking of consulting Aditya let alone considering that he'll feel bad when he'll find out. But what happened then ?? Through all these ,the only thing that stuck out was how upset Malini was that Aditya vented out at her making him immediately back out ( she has this special talent about making every problem about herself and how much she's hurting and immediately Aditya falls back on protective mode and forgets every thing else. ) and apologized with great regret and promptly accepted the Switzerland honeymoon offer ,and later when they went to C house , it was obvious that that Aditya has not only accepted Mrs. C gift ,but he's even excited about the trip. Groveling tab bhi thi , Moon ka marzi sabse upar tab bhi thi.
For Aditya ,Malini is far more important than their class difference. If push comes to shove he'll always choose Malini over any such issues or bruise ti his self respect. Let's not forget that Aditya himself is a big elitist and classist. So somehow he does relate to Mrs C and her attitude. Mentally supported it whenever she unleashed it on Imlie because that's how he thinks deep down too. There has been many such instances in the show. This one time recently it was different and mark of his newfound sense of care for Imlie.
So what then ?
Aditya will as usual deeply regret hurting Malini and over compensate by doing something extra sweet or crazy or just profusely apologizing so that it's teeth gritting annoying. It won't be the beginning of them slowly drifting apart , it's the beginning of their proper marital journey, just like any other pair.
It's not like Imlie and Aditya can spend even a day without fighting 10 times.
Good anyways, I don't want Aditya to get close to Imlie because she's better than Moon as a docile adjusting wife and she's from a lower socioeconomic background and therefore places Aditya at a comfortable upper hierarchical position. Then she'll be a rebound .which is not worth it.
Crack ke beech ghus kar jo apna jaga banaye use dimak ya fir termite kehete hai . I don't want Imlie to be a termite in her own story . She deserves to be chosen for herself, for some quality she possesses and not what Moon doesn't.
