After 10 years....

After 10 years, I am hooked to a show again! Ipkknd was the first hindi serial I ever watched and was completely hooked to it. Tried watching a few after that, but nothing really worked. Always knew though, it will be a Gul Khan show that will pull me in again.

Really enjoying the show! Beautiful story-telling! Binge watched all the episodes in 5 days. Subscribed to hotstar only for this show. Can't wait to see what lays ahead!

They did a great job with casting and the production set. Imlie, Aditya, Malini, Imlie's mom, Satyakam, the Tripathi family - very nice performances. It's a pleasure to watch them. The makers should take time to build up Imlie and Aditya's relationship. They were in very different places in life when they met. Just because destiny brought them together, doesn't mean they should fall for each other overnight. The makers are doing a great job in slowly building up their relationship. For them, falling in love with each other is going to be a journey and we should thoroughly enjoy the ride! :)

Same pinch Mayuri 😃 . The last show I watched with interest was also IPKKND, tried couple of shows in between but nothing clicked, not even the other Gul shows. There is nothing OTT. the casting is excellent and all the characters are relatable ( with both good and bad) .

I waiting eagerly to watch their journey and enjoy it.

Me too but the problem is that I am an inpatient, hopeless romantic person. Jitna slow ye adilie le jaa rahe hai wo frustrate kar raha hai.

Agreed. I like how all the characters are layered, both positive and negative. It's interesting to see them referring to how Malini's mom wasn't so bitter/complicated before. Deep down somehow she realized that her husband is not the same after coming back from Pagdandiya and that changed her completely. Any woman would become bitter over time when she realizes her husband's heart lies somewhere else and he is not being honest about it.

Mithi, Satyakam, Dev, Rupali - all these characters are layered. Malini's character will become layered too once she realizes what life has in store for her. So far, she has led a very protected and comfortable life. Eventually, she will be faced with one of the biggest challenges of her life and it will be interesting to watch how that will change her.
