Somehow..Am unable to digest the part of coming to see one girl liking another one and the marriage also hpng so soon. Maybe its me or am old fashioned or maybe am not as practical as they ask us to be in this serial..but this is bad. Its not only uncultural - but very bad behaviour acc to me. You cannot justify this act and glorify it by asking others to be practical enough. just my 2 cents.

I agree with lavy, it is wrong to see one girl and ask to marry the other, which is why the friends or sisters or whoever usually do not come outside when the ceremony is going on.

I don't know if coming to see one girl and asking for naother is right or wrong.. but it a serial.. and just they show it the way they want ot move the serial.. Moreover, as far as I have seen, other girls will not be allowed to come with the girl in the ponnupakara scene. not even the girls' own sister.. it is to avoid such confusions...
