Hum Tum Song Choice for Consumation Scene

This has been bugging me since I saw the episode. I absolutely loved the scene before where Sahir bares his past and actual consumation or rather almost consumation scene but I felt the song choice was out of place. Did anyone else feel that going from the Humsafars bg score cut to Hum Tum song was kind of abrupt? Also, I'm kind of sick of the song. It's been way over used in soo many shows, and trust me, I'm a Hindi show addict for a really long time so I've seen this song being used so many times. I just wish that they had used a different song. Did anyone else think that?

Not bashing the sequence or even the song itself but just wanted to see if it was just me who felt that the song was out of place.

Maybe because its one of my personal favorite songs and from my favorite movie that is making me say this, but i liked the song in the sequence. It's better than using Tum Hi Ho, which God knows how frequently it has been used the past two years ...

Yeah I felt the choice of song played could have been better. It kept bugging me when they were playing that song throughout the sequence.

naaa i think im ok with the song they chose... tum hi ho is common gets on my nervse ... and in gorky vid they wer gnna put raabta 😡 which i sooo did not want !!!! thankfully cv heared our voice nd changed it to sommet hot :-)

just needed a song which has sexy and hot words 😳😳😳😳 if you go back to see the epic and the words of the song match sooo well with todays saaz scene

I agree fresh song choice would have been nice.. but hey this was only the trailor... so when it actually happens we may get a song that actually is different and special.. you people got a song in mind?

I agree that Tum Hi Ho again would not work as it's again way too over used. I actually hadn't even thought about that song. First, I thought Kabhi Jo Badal Barse as it showed in the E24 segment. I also thought of Khamoshiyaan and Tu Har Lamha from the same movie. Actually, I also thought of Ang Laga De, and maybe Aaj Phir. Dunno but I'm def gonna do my own versions and see.

I agree with you 🤓 It's not that I don't like this song but I didn't want to hear it in an almost CON scene, you know what I mean? In fact, I muted it as soon as it came on and played Ang Laga De instead and omggg let me tell you --- it was AMAZING! 😉☺️😆 I think everyone needs to try this! 😆😆

That's actually what I'm trying out right now 😉 Looking at different songs to see which fits. These are the songs that I'm looking into:

Mere Haath Mein tera Haath ho

Ang Laga De

Jaadu Hai Nasha

Kabhi Jo Badal Barse

Aaj Phir

Bol Na Halke Halke

One of the songs from Khamoshiyaan

Saans

Zara Zara Behakta Hai

So far, I really really liked Ang Laga De and Jaadu Hai Nasha. I tried Mere Haath Mein but only the beginning (Ya Maula) part works, the rest is not as sensual for the mood as I thought if that makes sense 😳

Also try "Boond Boond" from the movie Roy. That works REALLY well too 🤪😉 Almost as good as ang laga de, if not better 😉😆

I agree! No disrespect to the song. It is a very lovely song and one of my favourites but for me it just didn't fit with the sequence. The episode was absolutely hot and I thought the song was not sensual enough for such a mind blowing scene. Anyways that's my opinion. 😊

@AsadkiDeewani Aashiq Banaya Aapne is another song you could try. Slowing the episode down a bit and playing the song was really good.
