Very apt title indeed, Sahir is anything but simple !!
The first dialogue while very confusing, I interpreted it this way - Aarzoo wanted to leave as Sahir had said so. So when he said I free you from our relation, means she does not have to honor what he asked for ! Again trying to make sense of it. But it is still evident, Aarzoo can hate him but still value his words. One wud say that's so pathetic self-esteem way; well it's only been a day. Give gal some time to process it all !!Sahir's self-talk afterwards, much needed. Yes I wish it had more intensity and touched upon few points we wanted but still very good one. Him accepting he is running from himself (whole reason for torn sentiments), praying when he gets punishment it is from Aarzoo. Which makes me think may be when he is going behind Aarzoo as per video's he is inviting this on him? 😕 Who knows. Very thoughtful part was admitting Aarzoo gave him sweetness of life and he gave her pain - only thing he has. It also goes back to parts when he asked her to stay away from him ! Most important aspect of talk was puzzled emotions on why he stopped Aarzoo. He is trying to put in logic well if not him Zaki wud do it and all that but no ! This is same line of reasoning he tried abt telling Aarzoo but truth but matter of fact he himself wanted to do it. Pass aane na de, durr jate bhi chen na mille - well love sure is anything but simple !Also his words on having let her gone would have resolved makes sense. So I think if Aarzoo had left and all was fine he may not be so disturbed. But he saw what happened to her so now his protective side is taking over. He fears if she leaves something bad will happen. So he wants to ensure she is safe, be it she will hate him and be harsh to him but safe. That is why he begged Alvira before and that was same reason why later in his bed room he was restless. Even knowing she is in house he had to make sure ! Once again too many aspects in him coming out !I agree that scene was highly inappropriate. Just to show Sahir's possessiveness and jealousy they showed such a scene. If Zaki was simply to sleep there then why ask that gal to go? Also no other wud leave her daughter in this situation so director you suck 🤢Same goes with the BG music and Sahir having come so close to Aarzoo during sleep, creepy !! They cud have shown Sahir ask for apology outside the door staring at her or even at her feet.I guess only thing I'll take away from scene is Sahir's multiple layers - possessive, jealous, apologetic and caring (towards Aarzoo and Zaki).Aarzoo waking up next day and ready with all do list - makes sense. It's only been few hours. Gal will need some time, it is good she realizes whole thing. In short future I wud like to see her inquire where is Sahir's wife. I mean anyone wud be curious, especially she as it concerns her greatly. But again not a priority so can wait for little bit !Last scene of Rehman and Sahir, again shows Sahir does care abt his brother's wish but as always he is being pulled from all angle. I will once again say this guy has no sense of self preservation or self-worth. Walking to guy he knows has killed before and putting gun on the head - self destruction manifesting from borderline traits to say minimum !!But when Rehman says Aarzoo's name guy gets all worked up It does seem Aarzoo has broken whatever wall Sahir had as the cool, calm, calculative businessman is losing it. When it comes to Aarzoo he himself doesn't know what he will do and self-destruction seems way too active during this period.I am not too sure how long this factory thing will go. First Sahir wud try to stop anyone from disclosing it and won't be surprised he will tell Aarzoo himself !Log Sach kehte he pyar me sabhi nikamme ho jate he 😆
Jay...would have loved an apology scene as you described...anything with some distance...😆
OK...if there is no sense of self preservation...why is he still fighting for Arzoo and not ready to concede?
