Today, I am lonely...

Here is what I wrote in your other post...(posting here again for Sushpective readers)
I have been thinking about what bothers me about Sahir being married...after all this is not the first time I have seen a second chance story...many of which I have enjoyed...

It is the morality of the situation ...when the ex has abandoned someone...is out of the persons life...it is easier to accept...the person moving on...But when the ex is sick or injured...and is dependent on someone...as a caretaker...it becomes morally challenging to accept...it appears that the person moving on is doing the abandonment...

If the wife had abandoned him...and this marriage had ceased in reality...I want to see it first hand...now...Not by oblique references to Sahir being unlucky in love...that seems rather self serving...

Fair thought Sush, I can see the morality of it and then it is after all...for better and worst...right naa
Then my thought goes to the human feelings, emotions, caring, needs etc...we need it all of us and when it is too long without it, slip becomes easier not necessarily justifiable

I think the makers could probably show Zeenat in bad light and probably a death and not giving Sahir the satisfaction to show her his success ...life is not fair at all...and here Arzoo kind of shows him, that satisfaction is not really needed to live a good life...let go!

Insomnia ...😛strong word..sometimes I wish that I have written a journal of all the answers I have gotten ...how long the memory will support me since I am aging 😊

Interesting conversation going on abt morality !
Well looking from philosophical aspect and even general view morality is very relative ! Perhaps that makes Sahir a dark character. Being a businessman he often deals with shady figures and opts for grey practices. Now speaking of personal life - guess they need to show the conflict better !

Being a married man he sure has asked Aarzoo to stay away and all but he fell hard for her. What makes his situation difficult is keeping this matter secret from Aarzoo. I truly would like to see Zeenat die and Sahir unable to show his promise being fulfilled. Then i guess they can show breakdown that his only promise made was not fulfilled. He has failed in his own eyes.

That wud make it intense and boy accepting and letting it go.

This letting it go is not easy process nor it's one time matter. It is indeed a process. But I fear being daily soap maker they may not properly explain if not justify the intensity that has been built and now without revealing the matter it is getting repetitive as all they show is more self-mutilation !

They need to focus on the isolation aspect. Being isolated does keep you in bad phase and only increases emotional pain as you just live with that ! So need to wait and watch if makers actually move story forward by revealing the past !

Aww.Thanks, Sush..😳

I am reading here first..

I agree cent percent...This is something a large majority of the audi cannot relate to...to a casual observer it looks like an immoral story...and most people don't bother to look beyond first impressions...

My niece came down for hols- watched HS or the first time...first response was revulsion to know Sahir was married..then she laughed at the pool dhamki scene...😆...but finally she declared she had fallen for SAC!😆...Now what percentage of viewers would follow her suit...😆

This is how the immorality doesn't strike me...

1. There are clear cut references to Zeenat's betrayal...and that recurring 'Sahir , aap ek artsit hai' fb..with such an innocent looking younger self of SAC...I don't ask for more..
But that is not enough...they need to clarify it without a doubt for the audience to connect to...
For eg. show that they were in the process of a divorce...or Sahir has a fb of how Zeenat's betrayal devastated him... Worst was Alvira's explanation to Zaki...that Sahir needs to have a life with his wife being comatose...very stupid and misleading...even if it is to let Zaki be blind to Sahir's love for Arzoo..

2. Dead Vs Alive.
If Z were to die...and Sahir could not fulfil the promise...not a big deal...what new twist can it bring to the story!- If HS was to wind up in a month or two, killing Z would be the first step...

Live Z...Puts Arzoo in place of the woman she detests the most...her father's second wife...coupled with Sahir's silence on his issues with first wife, Arzoo is going to feel terrible...something KA and Anam and Z herself can compound later on...adding a lot of meat to work on..😉

Thanks for the post Sush and have a great trip. Hope you feel better. 👍🏼
Shweta, what can I say about your collages? They convey so much more that the dialogues sometimes fail to do so.⭐️⭐️

I am extremely late to comment on this episode and everyone else has succinctly expressed the views similar to mine. If I were Nausheen, I would not have let Alvira go before she answered all my questions.😡 Nor would I have let any male spend night in Arzoo's room where she was sleeping.😡 Arzoo is first and foremost Nausheen's responsibility. Where is Dadi when we need her?😕

Sahir, the wakeful, the ever alert and watchful lone star rues that Arzoo has joy and happiness to give her but he has only pain and unhappiness to give to Arzoo. By that logic, Sahir, your family only has apathy to give you these past 7 years. 😭 It would be interesting to see their equation now in the professional setting and otherwise from this point on.

Looking at Arzoo, all I remembered was what Ms. M.L.Ciccone crooned long time back ...

Say your lines but do you feel them
Do you mean what you say
When there's no one around
(No one around)
Watching you, watching me, one lonely star
(One lonely star you don't know who you are)

I've always been in love with you
(Always with you)
I guess you've always known it's true
(You know it's true)
You took my love for granted, why? Oh, why?
The show is over, say goodbye

Hi chick...it is easy to be a viewer...and want things...rather than be a maker...

After RR, I had vowed to not want to influence the direction of the story by writing anything on the board to that effect...my last few posts indicate that I am falling into the same trap again and breaking my own promise...I think it would not be bad idea to take a break from posting at this point...and not be that viewer ...I vowed not to be...

Every maker has a right to tell their story the way they like it...who am I to demand or want to influence otherwise...

Hi Jay...I think one thing we can count on Gul for...is not to rush emotions...I think she will do justice to any recovery...if they go down that path...

I am finally with you about revelation of the past...that one clip of Zeenat saying that he is an artist not a businessman...doesn't indicate much....

In Rebecca, the past came out much later...but the wife was dead already...In most other cases...without revealing the past...it seems unfair to assume that the marriage had virtually ended between the two...and that she had abandoned him and the relationship...

Calling some one an artist and not a businessman...is that really an insult? Some people would take that as a compliment...😃
