I too am liking the show. Deja vu... yes, but somehow the first week is trying to establish that this is not a part deux. And has somewhat succeeded, for me at-least.

I like Arzoo characterization. 😊 The girl is well grounded, and not the ditzy, bumbling kind as Gul's FLs generally are. Love the family, the bonding between the sisters particularly. Somehow, the show has a very 'normal' feel to it. A mini celebration with before leaving for Mumbai, chatting into the night... trying to make the most of the last few moments together. Loved the little scene where Arzoo cries silently, particular when she shakes her head... 'no more tears'. The anchor for the family, she needs to ensure everything will be okay.

Coming to Sahir, I agree with Sush and Pri. It seems he is trying to keep himself away from the little joys in life ... As if they are not meant for him, or he does not deserve it. A back-story for sure. Sahir's dad also seems to be missing. Seems like a daddy-issue for both the leads.

With you about doing away with the foliage. The man is quite good-looking. We did get used to Moochiya, but this is way too unkempt. Okay, he is apparently a poet as well. But then again, he owns a fashion house. 😕

Bhavi, Gul's show forums on IF generally start slow, although this forum is a bit too quiet. Give it a few weeks, its going to be buzzing for sure. 😆

I am liking the slow pace...have not seen today's episode yet...going to see it tommorow...except for the FL casting all is good for...

Ne ways...the show so far has most of Gul's ingredients which makes for a good start and story on usual basis...so all is good in that regards...
HC...I have been a fan of since Kish Desh days...banda knows his acts prity good and from what I have seen and heard about Gul...she writes her characters very well so am sure this will be icing on the cake for us viewers to see HC play it.
As for Shivya...TBH...I wasn't really taken in by her...she looked ok...I mean very casual ...girl next door looks (ofcourse if I compare her with our previous heroine😆)...but I still wanted to give her a chance ...afterall...judging a book by the cover ain't the right way to go. And Oh my dear Lord...the first thing I caught me as I saw her full fledged..."she is a carbon copy of her producer...aka Gul Khan😲"...I was like...doppleganger for reals?? Haven't I had enough of that in our previous show😆. Ne ways...for a debut performance...I think she is doing quite good...and am sure with more time and episodes...she will ease it and we soon will simply see only Arzoo...I see her already slowly and gradually slipping into Arzoo ...which is a good sign...

The supporting cast is looking great...the sisters already look real to me and so does dadi and ammi. The build up of foundation stories are being laid very carefully and sensibly...totally Gul's way...I just hope we have good writers for the show this time around...
All in all a good start and first week it looks to me...let's hope we dont have to deal with those darn TRPs here too.🤔

I am so happy to meet and interact with you all...cheers to a new beginning...


PS. I have only 1 complaint so far...Can we really have HC's long hair and stubble toned down...banda's khoobsurati is being masked which I dont like😒

Nice post.I liked the first week of the show.There are still more characters to be revealed especially from Sahir's family.I am intrigued why Sahir hates mangoes ,why he ate burned toast,why he is the way he is?So all the more reasons to watch and stick to the show.Plus Harshad is really good so far as Sahir.

Chalo ...why not...the character is a Muslim girl from Lucknow...who is self confident...and all the tehzeeb that comes with Lucknow...if she is inspired by Gul herself...no need to worry about she losing grip with reality...or us being at loss about what she is thinking...😆 BRING IT ON!
