I don't mind the lighter side either...but NOT OTT comedy for the sake of it. I don't think the new actress can pull it off as of yet...Excatly it's the silliness i'm hoping they'll avoid, considering being the elder sis, mature, responsible overall character she is showing. I don't want her to be a boring and all goody two shoes type either...
Surbhi was really good in QH, watch AsYa if you have time ... she was OTT here & there (as all Guls' heroines are) but she also aced the emotional scenes, romantic & comedy scenes!
I know it's Takia Qalam ... but it sounds really weirs when Arzoo says it... Mayb bcz it's used too random and often?
I hope she grows on you...I like her already...she acts naturally ...is not stuffy like some of the other popular actresses I have seen...and is not OTT...not so far...I think she can pull it off Sophie...She is quite good for her first show...I like the newness...for some actresses...some expressions become overused...and don't seem authentic any more...
