Guess who are bonding on the sets of Mahadev...Ram

Actors Tarun Khanna and Piyush Sahdev might never get the opportunity to pose as friends on-screen in Life OK's Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev (Triangle Films Company). They play the characters of Raavan (Tarun) and Ram (Piyush) who have been at loggerheads as per our epic Ramayan. However, off-screen, the actors share a great camaraderie, to the extent of having a mutual admiration.

Says Tarun, "You can never find it elsewhere other than on the Mahadev sets… Ram and Raavan are the best of friends (smiles). I have clicked well with Piyush from day one, and we have hit it off. He is a very nice guy, friendly and easy to talk to. Even though we have not been shooting together till now, we have been keeping in touch through phone calls and messages. When I like a scene of his, I immediately let him know and it is the same with him. In addition to the mutual admiration for each other, we have one more thing in common. Earlier, he was part of Shapath and I was part of CID, shows made by Fireworks Productions. So we talk of the eccentric times we have had in our earlier projects."

Talking more on Piyush, Tarun adds, "Like me, he is also a family man. We talk about our wives. We have also planned a family outing very soon, wherein either I will be going with my wife (Smriti Khanna) to his house, or Piyush along with his wife (Akangsha Rawat Sahdev) will come to my place for a get-together."

On their new-found friendship, Tarun states, "Life is very hectic for both of us as of now as we are busy shooting for Mahadev. But one thing is for sure, this friendship will stay on forever."
