if you notice i said some places not all India 😉 in our place if we want to call some one sarcastically and call him mamu we call him babu 😛 and my lauguage is telugu

it can be used for both sarcastic and proper way it depends on the situation.. so donot think babu is just a good word to be used 😆

it has different meaning in different lauguages just for example the punjabi words "munda" is the biggest abused word in telugu - hope you got my meaning

You are so right there darling.😊 Please call him babu sarcastically, we don't mind...😛 The meaning of that word would still remain the same 😳 and that is 'a venerable man' .😳 I am glad that the character who I like is being called with such respectful words.

you wonot get every scenario in wiki 😆 we use babu to call baby boy, elder people and in some situations when you want to be sacratic we use babu as well 😆

like for example if someone wonot stop talking we tell them "babu nainaa chalo appu" means mamu mooh band karoo 😉
