i think rishi made a big mistake here..instead of sitting at home for these months & taking care of his shrimatiji, he would have gone to court & earn some money..indira ka dekpal karnekeliye saare besharmas ready hokar kadete na😆

I have to agree, Surbhi. There is no defense for Rishi for not looking out for his daughter's education. Its a huge, gaping lapse in this character and nothing can be said which will make it right. Its not as though I have never questioned Rishi's actions or motives. But now, I find it deeply frustrating. I'll tell you why.

See, this (as you rightly said) is a show. How a character shapes is in the hands of the writer. The character Rishi has a life of his own, but how flat or rounded he is as a character is in the writer's hands. Characters must grow as the incidents in the story play out. And my main complaint is that there is no growth! Nine years is a long time. Long enough to take a toll on people. Those nine years do not show in anyone. Munna was knitting today! Its frustrating!

You are seeing the show as a reflection of a society in which girls contribute much more than boys. While that is valid, if you look at it purely as a story, I would say that there is stagnation. I cannot relate to the passage of time with zero change. Can you? I find it a sort of burden that they cannot take the story beyond this point. Its like a broken record that refuses to complete the song.

i certainly agreee...i wasn''t expecting ...things will be back to square one and atleast not this soon . And indu's education...i never thought in my wildest dreams...i thought for some well deserved happy moments ...i know life is not lovey dovey. types...but still...at least some time...some good things ...you are right about character growth ...but at least in indira's case...i found it...she was more mature than her age from the starting of the show ...in the show she learn to be positive about things...to smile...to live and become even more strong etc etc . And now taking about rishi...please don't take me wrong...but cvs don't know what to do with the character... ...when it wasn't supposed to be a love story...than also we got beautiful inshi moments and rishi being there in it ...i mean after loving each other to this extent...the husband not ready share responsibilities is really not a funny thing . And the person is the same husband who has been responsible at times . The way they wrote rishi sketch in starting is a complete opposite of what he is today. See the show was indira orientated ...And i know things will be about her...what they wish to convey too i feel...i know...but they don't know ...that now till this time audience is connected to rishi...now they can't change him ...and that too from good to worse...just to convey the message . They need to eliminate that thing...that husband even don't helps from the story . They need to show only husband helps . Then only it will be acceptable ...like they showed sharmas from very start and today we don't give much thoughts when they do one more wrong act . But with rishi...the case is different...illa mam needs to understand that .

@bold: Precisely. You said it. This is what is paining Ranjiniji and other Rishi fans. What Rishi started off as and what he has been made are radically different. Some care needs to be taken in the portrayal of the main leads.
