And she is not a police officer in her past life but someone else or something else,,this can explain her changed character eg if she had an obssessive compulsive disorder ..

Eg she loved someone before memory loss and was obsessed n killed to get him and now she gt her memory back n got her obsessive streak back n now hence wana kill Indira

This cud be a valuable explanation cuz all of a sudden kill Indira is not viable

I know and I do understand that its really important to justify why she turned negative all of a sudden but this is HD. You just can't expect them to answer such questions, the important ones.
