she is not trapping herself. she wants revenge on indira. she threatened to kill indira because she is jealous of indira she admit to it. she did this to keep indira away from rishi. remember when rishi and indira were getting close she came into the room and drag indira and took her down stairs and humiliated her. is that what a intelligent cop treats a unstable women.
