There were so many undisguised references to getting laid in front of the entire family that it makes me wonder how this can be called a family show. I don't know of any family, however liberal, that goes on and on with references to kunwari dulhan, sej, suhaag raat, and sharirik sambandh. No one seems to be thinking of anything else! Right from Inder (naturally...what am I saying!?!) to Rishi to Zara to Indu. Its on top of everyone's mind.
Lahorewali started it all by showering kisses on Rishi (who thinks it is Zara). When she is doing it, she has memories of her time with Rishi and seems very much like a woman. But when Zara shoves her at Kutumb and claims her stake on that pie called Rishi, she seems like a child again. But not entirely because she wants to be with Rishi and shows her objection to being called an outsider. She also wants the suhaag raat (please correct me if I am getting this wrong). Kisses Rishi again when Zara leaves...only to be shoved away.
Rishi is see-sawing. He knows that Lahorewali is a child and the doctor's prescription cannot be carried out. Yet, whenever (this is the second or third time) he is provoked by Savita, he feels this overwhelming need to prove that he can do (not so much will do) whatever it takes to cure Lahorewali. He tries to explain to Zara that what she saw was wrong. This is correct because he was thinking that Lahorewali was Zara.
The paper tiger in Zara is awakened. She declares that she will kill whoever tries to get in the middle of her and her husband. She also says that this is not an empty threat...she can do it. This explains Rishi's throttling, but it does not justify the scant trust between the two. If they did not know each other enough, they should not have married. What's the point of marrying, moping for each other in separate rooms, giving each other grief about a situation that they each walked into with their eyes open, and now snivelling about the lack of intimacy?? This is childish and is getting increasingly irritating! Move on!!
Indu, Inder, and Seher walk in with all the required essentials to cure Lahorewali. Namely, flowers to decorate the bed on which the sharirik sambandh will be carried out.
Rishi, who told Lahorewali "yeh galat hai" gave Indu the bridal attire that was meant for some anushthan and told her to get her mother ready. This, I thought, was ambiguous. For her, her mother is Lahorewali. If he meant her, then, from this point on, he cannot be redeemed. And if he meant Zara, then he should not have used the term "ma" with Indu when referring to her. He knows who she thinks of as her mother.
Sunaina Guruma has her own agenda and will not allow Rishi to sleep with Lahorewali. Aside from the fact that she is here for some "gameplan" which will advance the track, I really cannot understand what anyone has to do with the private life of another.
Precap: Beyond disgusting. They gave dialogues to Indu that are totally unacceptable. Edit: Indu says "Khadoos Aunty...aapko jiska intezaar hai, woh meri Mummy ke kamre mein gaye hain."
They better take the protests seriously.
