See this the problem with this situation, once you get in, you can't get out. So I'm gonna say a few things but gonna try to keep it very short! (Overtime in the match i suppose?)
Here's why I feel that Rishi needs Zara on board to tell Indu because not only is Zara Rishi' wife, she is going to be Indu's step mom whether she(indu) likes it or not (unfortunately decision has already been made). Like I already stated, it was a bg mistake on Rishi's part to get married to Zara without Indu knowling. So now he has to fix this and I rather have him fix it the right way. He has to reasssure Indu that by marrying Zara, he has not abandoned Indu or "mummy" and I think this message will mean a LOT more if it comes from both Rishi and Zara rather than Rishi alone espeically since Indu is of the mind that Zara wants to get her "mummy" out to a mental asylum. Knowing Indu, no amount of nice talk, reasoning, love, or reassurance will change her, but if this was real life (or even close to it), I think it would workd better for Rishi and Zara to both be there. Had this been before the marriage, I think it would have been enough for just Rishi to speak to Indu.
@ hema and Kanan: I see where you're coming from re Rishi's character but here's the thing- he has been this way (passive- i like this word Kanan) for the last 9 months or so. I don't think this is anything new. Like I said in one of my previous posts, his place in the story pretty much ended in March/april 2012. Since then, he has been pretty much a fly on the wall but given some random acts of jugadupan just do that he didn't completely fade out and people could still like him. But random acts of jugadupan don't make a character- his character went missing way before. So in my eyes his current mode of behavior is completely in line with what his "role" is in this show.
Alright since Kanan didn't want the trophy, I'm gonna ask for it. I definitely had the more difficult task of defending Rishi. You have to admit that he rarely gets any support from the writers or the creatives. I mean I had to make up a lof of bs (good bs if I say so myself, but bs nonetheless) to defend him. 😆

For this last sentence, I feel like giving you a gaali that I usually reserve for use as an endearment. I mean it totally affectionately. 😃

WoW!!!! You both are very competent players. I hope everyone enjoyed this nail biting match.

Score Board: Kanan - 6, Walden - 6.

Match is still not over. Time is up. Now our referee Heema gave extra time to players.

Now Kanan severed the shuttlecock to Walden, in the slow motion the cock was going towards the Walden court, all were quiet and eagerly waiting to see how Walden will react for that.. Wow our Walden did strike the cock back to Kanan court. Kanan was about to hit the cock, but suddenly his eyes were blurred and missed the cock.

Score Board : Kanan - 6, Walden - 7

________________________________________________________-

Hurray!!! Walden won the highly competitive match.👏 Kanan you are ⭐️. You gave very tough competition to Walden.

Runner up trophy goes to Kanan.

Given by our Referee Heema

Winner Trophy goes to Walden

Given by Heema.

Special award trophy to Heema .

We have another special award to our audience, Roshini who cheered and encouraged our players.

Sorry, if I made mistake in scoring. Forgive me.

Thanks Anu, Heema, Walden, Bijlee, Hema, and everyone who made this trophy possible. Thank you HD and Trilogy Krikos for ruining my peace of mind <sniff>. Thank you HD for nurturing the cynic in me and for bringing out the inherent sarcasm on a daily basis <sniff>. Thanks to the cast and crew of HD for turning me into some sort of couch potato who has nothing better to do except pontificate and critique the lives of a bunch of fictional characters who, in turn, have nothing better to do except be miserable on a daily basis five days a week.

I would also like to thank my cook and my driver for making it easier for me to create posts on IF. <emotional>

Edit: Walden, you better make a more emotional thank you speech than me...

QUOTE=AllThingsNice]. Kanan . I know this match is over and you do not visit forum over the weekend !! You might not see my post but I need to make my points and clear some misunderstanding !! So you might understand , where I am coming from!!! My responses will be in bold .

Okay, let me see. So if I pause, step back, and reassess, I find that we're turning in circles. I am saying, yes, Zara has made mistakes, but so has Rishi and if we can forgive Rishi, we should be able to forgive Zara. Walden and Heema are saying, yes, Rishi has made mistakes, but so has Zara and if we can allow Zara to make mistakes, we should be able to allow Rishi his mistakes. If I have misunderstood, please correct me.
I do not think I ever said I forgive Rishi and not Zara ! I do not forgive both of them till they try to correct their mistake and get rational solution for their married life . If hey keep making mistakes then they both should not look for happiness ! Is it clear?? How they will do that it's in writers hand !! 👏👏

So, if we are going to turn in circles saying the same thing, then I am in favour of the truce. However, Walden's gracious offer of being declared as the winner is rejected because for one, I don't think I was able to make any headway in getting you guys to see my point at all. Plus, I was playing just to show another POV, and lastly, I am not the type of child who likes to be handed the candy. Would rather earn it 😊
Great !!!!I admired you . I am just like you! I kill for my candy !! Beware !😡
Walden, on our colorful back and forth, I just have a couple of things to say:

About the Rishi-Zara, Rishi-Indu and Indu-Zara dynamics that have been compromised because of Zara's decision to send Lahorewali to the asylum, I am unable to see how it has such a deep-reaching impact that everyone is rendered speechless. However, I don't think we should dwell on it too much...there's no point. We just have to watch how it plays out.
If no one should not dwell on this then we should not dwell on Rishi not telling Indu about MARRIGE either. They both need our forgiveness !! 😉

I also have a question: Why does Rishi need Zara on board to tell Indu? He did not need Indu on board when he told Zara that he loves her (even if she is not Indira). While the two situations are radically different, I am against mixing his telling Indu with his sorting out his issues with Zara. In my opinion, any of these can happen first and are not dependent on the other. Telling Indu is Rishi's responsibility. He owes it to her. And as for whether Indu can have her Mummy despite Zara, by bringing Lahorewali back, Zara has made way for that. It is Zara's stay in SN that is uncertain, not Lahorewali's. But Indu wants Mummy and does not want Khadoos Aunty. Whose job is it to resolved
Kanan. I am very surprise at this . But that's your view point !! I have seen lot of single parents by choice or by death of the spouse. And divorce parent with children . When they failing in love again they do not get permission from their children to fall in love again!! It just happens ! No child will give this permission because they always have fantasy to get their parents back together ! And Rishi thought that Zara was his Indira !!! He thought that's Indus real mother, till Zara pop the question and then he started to think !!!when you are married you face every difficulty together . Rishi should have talk to Indu but now it's too late and he needs help and united front to handle this difficulty child " at my work they always say two heads are better than one in difficult case !!thats why Zara should be with rishi. It's both of their job to resolve. Now Zara is Indus mom!!Indu might not think so but that's the reality !!! 😭😭

Yes, Zara and Rishi need to talk to sort out the issues between them. To that extent, I am with you. In yesterday's epi, Rishi tried and Zara resisted. If we want to get into hair-splitting and nuances, it can be said that he saw Kutumb talking to Zara while he was feeding Lahorewali. The moment he finished feeding her, he went upstairs to talk to her. But she was unwilling to listen. The next morning, he was headed somewhere (not in Zara's direction) when he saw her exiting her room with her packed bag. That's when he tried to speak with her again and asked her to stay back. In the meantime, the loose cannon Indu made an appearance with Lahorewali in tow, is rude to Zara who finally leaves for Mumbai. Rishi tries to go after her, but Lahorewali stops him. I suppose this will be defended with "what could he do?" My counter question is when he was wooing Zara, did he allow any hindrance to stop him? Then why now? Also, he never, ever prevents Indu from saying whatever she wants to Zara. None of them do, but the rest of the Sharma family is pretty inconsequential.not leave him alone forgone second and Zara does not come near him
When he was wooing Zara. Indu and Indira was not stopping him , Indu was too busy with Sweatas Game and he had lots of free time.now he is very busy with his Zimmedari and Battamiz Daughter ' they physically and emotionally stop him from getting close to ZARA!!
Anyway, in all this, my only question really is: is he as helpless as he is made out to be? I don't think so.

See, I am not out to establish Rishi as a villain or Zara as a victim. I will support Rishi till the very end because I started liking this show because of him. But if that means absolving him from everything and making excuses for him, then that's not my definition of support. Support is when I do not leave his side even if I disagree. This is exactly as I would do for my friends. Disagree but do not desert. By the same token, Zara, too should get some criticism and some support for her actions.
They both are victim of situation and circumstance " NO one is bechara or victim . They are in difficult situation
I firmly disagree that Rishi is an underdog. He is not. If anyone can drive this situation to its conclusion, it is Rishi. That makes him the opposite of an underdog. And I would really like to know what Zara has got going for her. I fail to see a single thing. I have already mentioned that I do not think of Zara as a bechari. There is plenty she can do to help herself instead of rotting in the interiors of SN.
It me who called Rishi Underdog so we will, live Dia out ! Dia you get a breather !
My defense for this is. On the forum every one bashing him and they call him looser ! And many other name . If you look at his situation he had plenty to loose ! If Zara wants to be alone only with him then he looses Indu and Indira and he will be bad husband and bad father , (which he already is per many viewer.)and guilt ridden rest of his life. Knowing his personality he will be never happy and Will not make Zara happy . So he is looser!! If he decides to stay with Indu and Indira and say bye to Zara he will be guilt ridden again and very unhappy in his life and Zara will be unhappy . he has every right to be with his second love so he is looser all the way. Unless four of them make a pack for happy life he is not winner , by nature he is good man !! He can have both of but needs Zaras approval !!
And if she teams up with Kutumb and acts under her influence as the precap for today's episode seems to suggest, then my support for her will be withdrawn. She needs to go through this with her head held high rather than being reduced to using tricks and stratagems to win her battles.

At the end of the day, I have no sympathy for people who are happy to wallow in their suffering and not use the brain that God has gifted them. Everyone has a way out and they have to rely on themselves to find it. Unless they are happy to be tossed around by the situation. No one knows how future epis will shape up...obviously, the leads talking or acting is not palatable to the writers. But I know that I want my brain free of clutter and bias before they play out. In all this the only constant is the extremely tiring Indu. But she is part of the fabric and we cannot wish her away.

Now I rest my case. Rishi characters is written in a way that he is weak, he does use his head! He makes impulsive decision . He lies drinks ect ect. I can go on and on . I Can write a book on him but I do not have time ! Now I know why RIshis fan do not come out of SUMIT AT! It's very difficult to defend such a poorly written lovable character !!!!

Kanan I hope you can read this?i am on my IPhone still at work. I do not have time to check and auto correct is going wild !!! Sorry for mistakes Heema

I hope. You are not quitting !!! I hope thesis just goodbye for weekend . You did not even read my
Answer !! BTW it was. Very healthy discussion . All characters are so poorly written that like walden said you have to make BS to defend them and we did. Thank you for this healthy match !! Hope to see you around !!
