Chapter-4

Sameer goes to the receptionist, she recognizes him "good morning Sir, how may I help you"

Sameer "I came to meet my Uncle, is he their"

receptionist "no sir, he went for an early meeting and still not yet arrived. Please sit in his cabin sir"

Sameer "no problem, it is my mistake without informing him I came here. I will leave. Just inform me once he comes I will come back"

Sameer is about to go stops on his tracks to see Indira coming from the lift. She did not observed him, goes and sits in the lobby along with a lot of members.

Sameer turns towards the receptionist "is there any interviews going on, I mean a lot of people are sitting in the lobby"

receptionist "yes Sir, today we have an interview for your uncles PA post" Sameer thinks 'oh, this is a good opportunity to talk with Indira. I will tell her my mistake and ask her for sorry. Whatever decision may be I will accept then-'

Sameer clears his throat "who is taking the interviews" Receptionist shows the HR person who is going to take the interview. Sameer "thanks" and goes to the HR person.

Sameer "hey I am Sameer Diwan" the HR person "yes sir, I know you. How may I help you"

Sameer tells him "actually I want to interview the candidates on behave of my uncle, if it is a problem you can contact my Uncle not an issue"

Sameer does not want anyone to know that he is doing this for Indira. As he donot want people to talk about her wrongly if Indira did not accept Sameer's proposal. The person hesitates for a second and says "sure sir"

Sameer's uncle dots on him and whole office knows how much his uncle appreciates Sameer's decisions in business, so the HR allows Sameer to interview the candidates. Sameer goes to his uncle's cabin and sits on the chair. He looks at the resumes and picks Indira's resume. He gets impressed sees her curriculum. Sameer "impressive, Miss Indira Sharma soon to be Mrs. Indira Sameer Diwan" smiles to himself. He interviews some 6 to 7 candidates before Indira's turn comes. Actually he want to put Indira's resume on top but either he is nervous to face Indira or he donot want everyone to show his anxiety to meet Indira, he puts her resume on 8^th place.

Sameer impatiently waits for Indira. Indira knocks the door "may I come in sir" Sameer takes a deep breath controlling his heat beat which rised suddenly due to her voice says "Come in" Indira enters the cabin. Sameer puts the resume on his face, still not showing his face. Indira comes and takes the seat. Sameer removes the resume and says "good morning Indira, I I mean Miss Sharma" gives a charming smile. Though he is nervous but puts a cool face infront of her. Indira gets shocked to see Sameer infront of her. She may times dreamed of meeting Sameer in many ways but she never dreamed meeting Sameer in her first interview. She become tongue tight, shock to happy to angry to hurt, her face reflects all her emotions in a fraction of seconds. Sameer observes all the changes and thinking 'Sameer, I think she is very hurt. I am sure she will start crying now. Oh god how to stop if a girl starts crying. I should have done some crash course before meeting her. What to do now?'

Before Sameer can think further Indira rises from her seat and turns towards the door. Sameer immediately rises from his chair to stop Indira shouting "Indira" but to his surprise Indira is not running but she locks the door and Sameer stops on his track staring at her. Indira turns towards Sameer with an angry expression. Sameer feels like a lion standing infront of a tigress waiting for her next move. Indira comes towards Sameer and catches his collar says "how dare you, you rejected me. Do you know how much I am hurt. I have got rejected 24 times but never felt this hurt. I felt like killing you for this. Pata hain raat baar nahin soyee mainne. Why did you leave me?" Indira did not even think for a second that she may make a fool of herself with her own actions if Sameer did not reciprocate her feelings. Whole night she thought of asking all these questions when she will meet Sameer one day. She cannot help but she feels they belong to each other, as a missing puzzle. She has full authority on him. Sameer is surprised with her reaction, he expected her to cry but bossing or man handle him that is last thing he expected from her. Sameer started laughing, no one dared to showed this much authority on him. He listens to his parents or Rishi that's all never felt the need to bare any type of allegations on him but Indira is right, she has full rights on him may be more than his family after all she is going to his better half soon. Sameer pulls her into his arms and hugs her. Indira tries to push him but Sameer tightens his grip whispers in her ears "Will you marry me Miss Indira Sharma" Indira stops struggling hearing his whisper, a shiver runs down her spine when his breath falls on her ear. Indira stands still when she realizes what she has done and what Sameer just said. She donot know whether Sameer is joking or serious. When Sameer did not get any reaction he breaks the hug and looks into her eyes.

Indira looks into his eyes with a disbelieved look. Sameer takes her face into his hands "I am sorry Indira, I know I might have hurt you so much yesterday but I am so immensed in you that I said no instead of yes" Indira blushed a little hearing this, Sameer cares her blushing cheek and continues "please give me a chance I wonot hurt you ever in my life again. Please marry me and be my wife, mother of children. I want to see every phase of life with you, growing old with you. Till yesterday I though no girl is worth to disturb my goals but after meeting you I felt you are precious to me than my goals and I I fallen in love with you at first sight. I Love you. Will you marry me" Indira cannot believe what she is hearing; still felt it is a dream. She did not respond to Sameer's confession. Sameer feels dishearted and about to remove his hands from her face. Indira shouts "yes" and throws her arms around his neck and hugs him, surprising him once again. Sameer cannot believe his lucky. Indira always surprises Sameer with her acts. Sameer smile widens thinking about their life ahead, he tighten his hug around her waist.

Epilogue

Sameer and Indira met secretly for few days, as Sameer is waiting for his parents to return back from their trip. As soon as they returned Sameer announced his decision surprising everyone. Rishi got his sports car as gift from Sameer as a token of thanks for making him attend the marriage proposal which Sameer almost rejected. If Rishi did not force him then Sameer might have missed her. Kutumb is on 9^th cloud when Sameer parents approached them once again. They fixed the engagement date and marriage after three weeks. Sameer tried his best to prepone the marriage but lucky is not with him, he has to wait for three weeks to make Indira his forever. No one knows about Indira and Sameer love confession happening on the Interview day. For every one it is an arranged marriage but for Sameer and Indira it is a love marriage.

They got married on the date fixed by their parents …. They lived happily ever after…
