sword not the only gryffindor relic

when dumbledore and harry discuss what items VOLDEMORT might have chosen to turn into horcruxes... they say that the only remaining item belonging to GODRIC GRYFFINDOR is the sword...

but they're wrong...

the sorting hat once belonged to Gryffindor remember???

Oh yes....how can we forget that.

It was he who suggested that when he and the other founders die, The Sorting Hat would be the one to choose the students. It was his hat that was used and he put some some of his brains in there and the others followed suit.

.....I know that Voldemort (Tom Riddle) is a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin.....so I don't think that Voldemort has anything to do with the Sorting Hat directly. Cos only Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin put in some of their brains into the SH.

Does that mean that somehow Voldemort has a direct link to the SH? Somehow I don't think so!

hey nishani.. i think dat even if voldermort has a connection with SS... ( salazar slytherin) but he can not hav a connection with the sortin hat... then if v all say that harry has sum connection with GG ( godric gryffindor) that does not mean that harry is connected to SH .. ok now even i m confused.. ??? 😕
