Harry a Horcrux: Theory Debunked - Page 4

I just had a long discussion with my friend on this exact topic..!! 😆 he thinks Harry is a Horcrux, whereas I don't. I'll just jot down some points he said, they were quite good....

- Harry can't feel, see, hear Voldie's thoughts through just the scar. therefore he has to be a Horcrux. I said that DD said himself that Voldie had transferred some of his powers through the scar... so that's the reason!

- A Horcrux doesn't have to be something you can confide into... just because Harry has these "spurts" of seeing Voldemort's thoughts doesn't mean that he can't be a Horcrux.

so it's basically not anything new.... but hmmm... just can't see this happening..!! 😛

Yes, possible... but no one has really said before, how a horcrux was made... so what if you don't need a wand? Dumbledore can do so many things with just his hands! And Voldemort is honestly very very powerful, and an excellent wizard.!

He doesn't need to kill harry to make him a horcrux! He needs to kill. to make a horcrux. He didn't kill the ring? the book? He might have killed James and Lily and later instead of finding a valuable thing, just used Harry I guess,.. since his death was so important... The only hitch is, why would he want a dead body horcrux? 😕

😉😉 My thoughts exactly.... Voldemort might have made Harry a Horcrux fearing professor Trelawney's prophecy... So this way he ensured that the *Chosen One* whould have to kill himself in order to kill Voldemort completely... This would only ensure Voldemort's safety... Since the prophecy says One will Kill the other while neither of them survives...

So Voldemort decided that killing Harry would mean killing a part of his own soul while the other parts of hs soul would survive.... and Harry killing Voldemort would still mean a part of Voldemort's soul is present in Harry and hence he continues to live...

Voldemort probably lied to his followers saying he wanted to kill Harry... He probably went seeking for James and Lily with the intention of making Harry a horcrux after killing his parents.... Lily was a good student... And she probably realised what Voldemort was upto and did some wandless magic to foil Voldemort's plans... Hence, Voldemort's act of making Harry a horcrux went terribly wrong and he lost his powers... But not before transferring a part of his soul to Harry... That explains why Harry is a parseltongue...

There can be no other explanation why Voldemort would lose all his powers to Harry..!! It is because he was trying to do something to Harry that he had not tried with others... Making him a Horcrux..!! And when you make a Horcrux... U become weak... At that point of time Voldemort was weaker than usual...

Voldy did not lose his powers to some ordinary one year old baby... He lost it to his own horcrux... Harry became his equal the moment he had half his soul inside him... And Dumbledore has told before... placing ur soul in something that can think on its own is dangerous... And that was the blunder that Voldemort made... Thats why he lost his powers...

I find it hard to believe that only Lily's LOVE could have been strong enough to make the Dark Lord lose his powers...

Moreover... That is the reason why Voldemort does not want Harry killed by the Death eaters... Tom Riddle wanted to kill Harry because that Horcrux was made before Harry was made a Horcrux... hence Tom Riddle, the memory was not aware of Harry being the last Horcrux... Its only the real Lord Voldemort who knows the truth....

Another thing.... Jo has made it clear she does not want to continue with Harry Potter after the seven books... And this Horcrux thing will be a perfect ploy to kill Harry by the end of the seventh book to ensure that there are no more Harry Potter sequels after the seventh book...

i dont think tht harry is a horcruz.. reason being would u have to destroy all the horocrus in order to kill voldy at the end.. and wel# all knw tht voldy would die and jk wouldn;t make harry horocrus cos if harry dies who will kill voldy..

well ... guys ... voldy couldnt have made harry a horcrux .. coz doing so will be in a way possessing harry .. which is one thing he can't do .. remember in OOTP ... in the chapter the only one he feared?
voldy tries to possess harry but can't bear to be a part of him ... coz harry is sooo full of love and stuff ... :)
and i am pretty sure some one would feel it a lil bittie if they made a horcrux ..... but yeah ... that abilities thing does shake me a little!
coz dumby says in half-blood prince that voldy was still 1 horcrux short when he turned up in godric's hollow to kill harry .... 😕 this is confusing!!

But that is completely senseless,isnt it??...Why would Voldemort create a Horcrux and then attempt to destroy it😕...He wouldnt want a part of his soul to be lost,irrespective of whether he created more Horcruxes or not..Dumbledore tells Harry that Voldemort was livid when he coerced Malfoy into confessing that he had used the diary for his personal motives..Voldemort only wanted to kill Harry,he never intended to create a Horcrux....The only explanation one can offer in substantiation of the theory about Harry being a Horcrux would be one where Voldemort inadvertently created one...

Besdies,the complete contents of the prophecy is unbeknownst to Voldemort...Thus Voldemort is unaware of the fact that it was also prophesied that "either would have to die at the hand of the other"..
